In a way, this is a "Chris and the Spanish language" article, but I think it's alright to do it for "Ricardo" since it's "Ricardo."

"If it were translated, his name would be "Cristiano", like Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo". No, it would be the PORTUGUESE translation (Portuguese is the official language of Portugal and Brazil). Cristian or Cristóbal would be the correct translation. --Bystander 00:25, 5 August 2009 (CEST)
