Talk:My Little Pony
To do
- Pictures of Chris's My Little Ponies (each individual one and the general collection as seen in his room)
- Origins of Chris's fascination as related to Megan
- There should also be direct links to CWCki articles and not links to YouTube video in regards to the videos where you can see MLPs hanging from his wall. --Champthom 14:50, 28 August 2009 (CEST)

Someone get me a pic!
If someone can track my down a really good image of his MLP collection, I could ID them and point out the rare ones, if any, and see how much money he's blown on this shit. There are some that are $200+ in value. I've looked at all of the shots of his room I could find but to no avail. BubblegumPinkButler 04:09, 12 May 2009 (CEST)
- Does Megan Shrine help? Image:Etc ebay bid.PNG shows bids but not wins. Axe 09:13, 12 May 2009 (CEST)
- It does, a bit. From these, I see absolutely nothing rare at all. I was at LEAST hoping to see one of the Christmas ponies that go for about $50, or the European only ones that fetch a fair price in the USA. All of these could be obtained at Walmart for God's sake. But they're being obtained on eBay? Also, he might want to be careful keeping those around VHS tapes. The G3 My Little Ponies- which those all are- all contain magnets in the hooves. Hair?
Where was the part about him using his own hair confirmed? On Camo-Flage, Ty Game, Johnlamence and Squall it looks to me like he cheaped out and used colored thread. Walter 10:55, 3 June 2009 (CEST)
Squall Metal Alchemist
I was just reading the bios Chris made for his custom ponies and I think that Chris thinks that Edward Elric's name is Full Metal Alchemist. Just a random thought that came into my head. --Spandam-sama 21:03, 5 December 2009 (CET)
Rehairing
I just had a fridge moment re: hairing. It seems like when Chris did his custom ponies, he rehaired the mane and not the tail. This is a bit ironic to me. See, the main is made up of what's called plug holes. They're a bunch of holes that go up and down the pony's head, and you have to take a sewing needle or similar instrument to put the new hair plugs in. On top of that, removing the old hair is a pain in the ass as you have to pop off the head and very carefully remove the hair, because if you're too rough with the hair removal you'll rip the plugs, making rehairing fairly impossible. The tail, though, is just a long string of plastic hair doubled over a metal washer, in the old ones, or a plastic bead, in the new ones, and pulled out of a long hole in the pony's ass. All these customs seem to have their original tail, which is by far the easiest part of a pony to replace during the customizing process. By the looks of it, Crystal has the original hair that the pony came with, mane and tail, but if you look at, for instance, Mimmbo Bo Boruto, the tail is very clearly the original nylon hair whereas the mane is what looks like embroidery floss. I can provide some photos on My Little Pony anatomy to show if anyone's really curious. I have a few ripped apart right now for a commission I'm working on.
