He has a hard time grasping the very simple pop culture jokes and parodies in ''Family Guy'' (not understanding why Meg was Ursla, thinking the banning gay marriage episode was serious, etc), so the political jokes in ''American Dad'' are very likely way over his head. - I think it's because he doesn't understand the humor in American Dad. He has a hard time grasping the very simple pop culture jokes and parodies in Family Guy (not understanding why Meg was Ursla, thinking the banning gay marriage episode was serious, etc), so the political jokes in American Dad are very likely way over his head.
