How to Sign Posts

It's 4 tildes (~~~~).

Depending on where you are, the tilde key is most likely either in the top left of the keyboard (American) or just to the left of the Enter button (British, Australian).

For Macfags and Other Retards: If you're on a Mac or can't find the tilde key, press the Signature button above the edit box (). It signs it for you.

Example: If you forget to sign your posts, everyone will think you're a retard. ~~~~

These usage notes will not be included in articles bearing this template.

This is a template to tell newfags how to sign their posts. I have to explain it at least three times a month, and I'm not typing all that shit again. Ideally, it should go on the offender's talk page rather than in the middle of the discussion. It looks ugly right now, but I don't know how to fix it.
