The native apparition that looks like a child version of Chris. Not only is this self-aggrandizement and self-idolatry, but the Anchuent Leader being Caucasian? That is some serious Mormon shit. Mall Conductor Bear 08:07, 1 May 2009 (CEST)

Somebody needs to note the fact that the Cherokee Leader is decked out in Roman garb.

Paleskin

To Sonijew: Chris drew the "Cherokian" chief's skin the same hue as his own, and we all know that Chris is very pale. It shows his ignorance about Native Americans, and his racism as he believes the good heroes should have racial features just like him. I think the paleness, and the blue eyes should be mentioned in the article (these points are even mentioned in the Cherokian Clan article).

Nobody wants your stupid, sub-Uncyclopedia crap here, LAG4U. This is serious buisiness. --MaxTehManyula 20:10, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Infobox

I think the infobox should probably be reverted to before the Bowman discovery. It's about Chris's comic character, and he didn't indicate that it's based on Bowman. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 00:47, 17 January 2025 (EST)

I heard from Cilria that Bob heard the Cherokee story from his great-grandfather William Teer, which opens the possibility that the comic character is a genuinely based on Polly. Though, I'd first like to see Cilria dig up a source. Mangolover887 (talk) 02:12, 17 January 2025 (EST)
Considering how Chris depicted the Ancient Leader in the comics as a Caucasian male in golden armor, I think it's safe to say he's not based on anyone but Chris's own warped idea of what a Cherokee is. Even if he learned about his female ancestor from Bob, I doubt that the Ancient Leader is meant to represent her. As such, I think that information about Polly should be relegated to her own section at the bottom of this article, so as not to confuse her with this fictional character. And yeah, any assertions about what Bob did or didn't know about his ancestor, and later told Chris, is something I'd also like to see backed up by a source. Anaxis (talk) 20:55, 17 January 2025 (EST)
