I have nothing to do at the moment, so uh...I guess I'll get to transcribing. --James Lamp-Eye 05:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Damn.

I mean, I kinda expected some sort of birthday video, but Independence day? Really?--Beat 06:04, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Is he serious? Or is he just playing with the camera? Who's got the camera? So many questions, it's like receiving a message from the Unibomber! TheBrownSonichu 06:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Is it the guy from the next video? Our mystery troll (or at least I guess it's a troll...)?YawningSquirtleRedux 19:31, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Independence Day

Can't find a video of it but Chris is totally ripping off the speech the President gives in the movie Independence Day where the President rouses the international military force, with a few motley volunteers:

Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in this history of mankind.

Mankind -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.

We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.

We will be united in our common interests.

Perhaps its fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation.

We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.

And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:

"We will not go quietly into the night!

We will not vanish without a fight!

We're going to live on!

We're going to survive!"

Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!

Yep. --Champthom 08:15, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Durr, someone noticed that before I did, can't believe I didn't see it in the article. But in any case, yeah, Chris rips off ID4. God damn, I loved that speech too, and Chris totally sullies it now. Well, that's one more thing Chris has ripped off.--Champthom 08:22, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
