Now is it just for humor's sake or does everyone actually assume that the "Pffft" sound effect is Sammy crapping himself? I've just always assumed it was the noise of the Ghost Buggy's tires deflating. Sammy 12:56, 9 July 2009 (CEST)

When MachPunch originally transcribed the video, he marked that as the sound of Sammy shitting himself. When I revised the transcript, I kept that interpretation. Having just re-watched the video, I'm sticking by that judgment call.

For one thing, Sammy immediately afterwards remarks to his own horror that the Ghost Buggy isn't the bathroom. That would seem to imply that he just shit everywhere, having assumed that he had finally found a toilet.

For another thing, immediately after that remark from Sammy, Chris comments that the joke is that the Ghost Buggy has no wheels (because they'd just rocketed off when Sammy landed). It seems unlikely that the tires would have both shot off and deflated (although, with Chris, anything is possible).

Whatever the case may be, the thought of Sammy shitting himself in the Ghost Buggy is damn funny, and unless somebody proves that that's not what's happening, I'm more than willing to let that description stand. Face it: your namesake has DCBs. Llort 16:46, 9 July 2009 (CEST)

Is it really a Captain's Log (as listed on List of Videos)?
