Sonichu Dolls

I don't know where they come from but all three of them have different dimensions and desgins so there may be multiple sources. - Your friendly neighbourhood Klop (talk) 15:32, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

The dolls at the conventions both have embossed eyebrow areas, which leads me to believe they could be from the same source. The one behind Chris is too blurry to tell. AReasonableMan (talk) 07:22, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
You're probably right, I got in touch with the woman who had cosplayed Chris. The image we claim to be Tingz is not really tingz. I'll keep you posted if they reply. - Your friendly neighbourhood Klop (talk) 13:19, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
I'll just paste her response here-

"The Sonichu plush is a actually a modified backpack of Super Sonic from Sonic Adventure 2 (I think) !!" -Your friendly neighbourhood Klop (talk) 06:23, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

I suspected something like that. If you rip the seams of a Sonic plush and replace the blue fabric with yellow, you've got a solid start on Sonichu. That means these dolls aren't being mass-produced, but rather hand-made by fans for themselves. I doubt Chris made his/her own, so I wonder who it was purchased from. I'll also see about correcting assertions that she is Tingz. AReasonableMan (talk) 07:45, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Ah, you have been busy taking care of things. Cool. AReasonableMan (talk) 08:01, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Using a Super Sonic plush makes life easier as its already yellow, just need to add pikachu ears, recolour the eyes and shoes. - Your friendly neighbourhood Klop (talk) 08:37, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Chris should sue for copyright infringement. AReasonableMan (talk) 08:58, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
lol even if chris had a copyright on sonichu, super sonic came out in 1992, almost a decade before sonichu was even thought of. - Your friendly neighbourhood Klop (talk) 09:05, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
