Thanks a ton for figuring out what the HELL Chris was saying there in that new video. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me last night. --Tristran 02:49, 11 December 2009 (CET)

How do I use user talk... I have never used a wiki before

  • You edit it like any other page; talk pages are just pages devoted to comments instead of that topic. Try checking out some other talk pages to get the idea. And always sign your comments with --~~~~ (two dashes and four tildes), or by pressing the signature button on the toolbar that appears when you edit a page. --sonichuis44 03:48, 11 December 2009 (CET)
  • Ok, cool. Also, is there a format I should use for audio transcription? I have been working on one of the mumbles (the latest one, I think) and I still need to fix some stuff. I was wondering if there is a page anywhere with rules for that. --Fabrosi 04:08, 11 December 2009 (CET)
    • I have no idea... Ask Tristran or Beat, they seem to be the most involved with transcription. --sonichuis44 04:24, 11 December 2009 (CET)
  • I don't think we have a formalized page on transcript format yet (though I might be wrong). Regardless, what you're doing seems fine... for the most part. The lines are supposed to be color-coded with the speaker of the line. Chris is usually assigned a blue color (hex code "#0033FF"), and... well, that's the only one I know. If you're interested in the color-coding aspect of the formatting, check out other transcriptions to see how they set the HTML tags for the coloring, and... if Bootsy Collins is colored fuchsia in past scripts, then, if Bootsy Collins is in the transcript you're transcribing, try to make him fuchsia in yours, too. That's about it on transcripts. Oh, by the way, I responded to you on my talk page (if you didn't see). --Tristran 04:28, 11 December 2009 (CET)
  • In regard to color-coding transcriptions, I have found this site immensely helpful.--Beat 00:57, 12 December 2009 (CET)

Signature

I've noticed a few discussion pages where you've said things without signing your name. Please don't forget to do that on discussion/talk pages; it makes it easier for everyone else. As a reminder, there's a signature button in that formatting bar at the top of the page when you're editing (you know, the bar with all the bold, italics, etc. buttons), or you can do it without the button by typing "--~~~~". Thanks. --Tristran 02:58, 12 December 2009 (CET)

Chris and if we harm him

Chris is by far his own worst enemy. Time and time again he has made terrible decisions and had many a ploys backfire onto him. In the opening weeks of his discovery of the ED page, Chris added information about himself to the article in the belief that if he overwhelmed the editors with information about himself, they would cease to make the page. Of course this gave them only more fodder and the page quickly became the bane of his existence. I'm not saying that we're helping him, because for as much good we do for him we just as quickly destroy him. But the thing about us supposedly helping Chris is that it's more of a way to show the white knights that even when we try to help Chris, he will lie and worm his way out of doing what's good for him. In the phone call with Kasey's father Chris stated that he runs jogs speed waddles 5 miles a day. 5 miles. Chris can barely go a quarter of a mile, as was evident in the Sonichu Edge video. So no, there is no helping Chris, it's just an alternative means to troll him by making him do something that he doesn't like and then yelling at him when he doesn't do it. --The Great Wizard CrassCrab, Lord of the Seven Realm and Master of the Archane Black Arts of the Eleventh Trans-Dimensional Vortex 17:22, 13 December 2009 (CET)

Sorry to butt in, but I'm sure he's better off being trolled than if he wasn't. He won't change anyway, the autism/aspergers e-mails proved once again that he is too stubborn to even try. At least the trolling makes him feel important and famous, doesn't it? –Lynxr–  17:32, 13 December 2009 (CET)

If Chris was never trolled, I doubt his life would be that much different. He was practically destined to scare Megan away (I mean shit, he punched her retard brother). That's why I think it's silly when people try to defend him and say trolls are ruining his life. To ruin his life would require him to actually have a life. The vast majority of things that have been fucked up for him were caused by him. We didn't get him suspended from PVCC for throwing a tard rage. We didn't get him kicked out of Target or Wal-Mart for being a creepy fuck. We didn't make him lose that Parappa the Rapper contest. We didn't make him lose his job at Wendy's. We didn't get him banned from the Game Place. Chris did all these things on his own. --The Great Wizard CrassCrab, Lord of the Seven Realm and Master of the Archane Black Arts of the Eleventh Trans-Dimensional Vortex 19:45, 15 December 2009 (CET)

That's true- especially the Megan example. Anyways, I was wondering what you think the next saga of trolling might look like, given what's already been done, how Chris has behaved recently, and what projects are currently in progress. For instance, do you think Chris's real-life biography will actually be a successful publication, and therefore the next big thing, or will it more likely be overshadowed by a new and improved type of "sweetheart" troll? Thanks. --fabrosi 18:59, 17 December 2009 (CET)

Handle

Fabrosi, are you, by any chance, Strong Bad's number one fan? I think I've seen you out lady...ing with that fake moustache once or twice. --Manwithoutabody, 2:32, 16 December 2009 (CEST)

Haha, yeah, that was where I got that name. There's a chance that I came up with it independently, but that's probably where I got it. I am Fabrosi. My body so esmooth. --fabrosi 03:21, 17 December 2009 (CET)
