Last picture still feels like it should be further up the page somehow, and tbh it doesn't really belong in a "Real Life" section, so can be replaced I guess. Some content you guys might want in there has been removed and stuff. The quote at the top seems a bit too long for a start-of-page quote. The intro feels like a repeat of stuff in other sections, but I can't find anything to replace it with. That's all I can see at a glance, but I really don't have time atm to fix it all up. I think this perhaps could be expanded to include the Mary Poppin's take on women's rights. During his 'women's rights' section, Rosechu takes almost a full page to bring up "votes for women" as if this were still a relevant issue. It could be that suffrage is the only part of legitimate women's rights movements that he's aware of, and even then only to the extent of it being a minor theme in one of his favorite movies. --LizardPie 00:43, 14 May 2009 (CEST)
- There's no indication that women, or Rosechus, have the ability to vote in CWCVille. However, it is likely just inserted as something Christian recognizes (...from Mary Poppins?). LBearington 09:04, 2 June 2009 (CEST)
- Well, there's really no indication that anyone votes in CWCville. I don't think there will be that point addressed, as Chris wouldn't want to portray the risk of him losing his power (despite the fact that he does basically nothing for his office). Still, he puts it in when discussing women's rights and it's at least something to mention briefly. --LizardPie 19:46, 5 June 2009 (CEST)
- The "votes for women" thing is just because of Mary Poppins. There was an incident in Mumble where Clyde approached Chris on this, like "Chris, why the fuck are you talking about women's right to vote and what the hell does that have to do with stripping?" and Chris is defensive and says something like "IT'S FROM MARY POPPINS!" Chris probably is unaware with the idea of women's struggle and since he was talking about what he thinks are "women's rights", he threw in something about women's rights he heard before (women's suffrage from Mary Poppins).
- As for voting, I believe in the Q&A video Chris says that everyone in CWCville can vote, "even blacks" (or maybe that comment was just something a troll added. If so, nice work). --Champthom 20:30, 5 June 2009 (CEST)
- In Mailbag 37, he says that "We hold elections for the Board of Director Members." But I think the Mayor can overrule the council anyway.
These were just my initial thoughts on the matter. I will get around to checking this and editing the article. I have never seen Mary Poppins, so I can't comment on that. As for the Rosechu matter, I forget offhand which episode that is in. I will get around to re-reading the comics when I feel that I have some spare brain cells to kill. --Decrumpit 08:50, 2 June 2009 (CEST)
Anyone else thinking in "The Father Call" when he laughs about Kacey maybe being "smarter then" him "on some things" stems from his sexism rather then his ego? --SerenityMoonstone 1:41, 5 September 2010 (EST)
- Definitely, if it were said of a man Chris wouldn't laugh, he'd get mad. Eamoo 02:18, 5 September 2010 (PDT)
- Then maybe this page should include cases of his sexism, other then views them as nothing more then shop-a-holic sex objects which is just the summary of what he thinks. --SerenityMoonstone 1:07, 8 September 2010 (EST)
- Definately, after all, we don't wanna just throw the word sexist around, we have to show evidence. Though, to be fair, I think his sexism comes through a lot, though that should make it easy to list these traits. Melainia 20:45 15 September 2010 (EST)
