Seems to me like this claw is common in his more recent videos, as I see it, it is a symbol of power he uses when making threats.
Anywho I rounded up some poorly cropped screen shots of him making the claw for y'all. --El Presidente 05:40, 1 November 2009 (CET)
He got this from Guitar Hero. It's a power metal thing that Yngwie Malmsteen started called the "Orb of Power". You know, like he's holding an orb. Chris is just bastardizing it. He probably also got it from Brütal Legend. Can we fix the article to better reflect this? Hamsterjelly 02:12, 3 November 2009 (CET)

:*Please, in the future, read The Taxonomy of Fail before putting things into the Relics of Fail category. tl;dr version is that until Chris is dead and trolls can hack off pieces of his body, a body part is NOT a relic (exception to this would be hair, fingernail clippings, etc.). == Ripping Off The Von Erichs? ==
*I've noticed something about the Claw of Fail, IMO, I think it's a ripoff of The Von Erich Claw, a move made famous by the Von Erichs (if anyone watches pro wrestling, they're legends here in Texas, where I live, who all but one, are all dead.)  Could Chris took the claw straight out of World Class Championship Wrestling vids on YouTube, or does he even like wrestling at all?--UJ1A1985 07:38, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Chris isn't known to be much of a fan of Pro Wrestling. As someone with a Claw of Fail of my own as a child, having never heard of the Von Erichs, I think this one can be chalked up to coincidence. CWCspatcher 18:29, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

To do: A gallery of him doing this stupid, stupid gesture. -- Anaconda 02:56, 1 November 2009 (CET)

• Please, in the future, read The Taxonomy of Fail before putting things into the Relics of Fail category. tl;dr version is that until Chris is dead and trolls can hack off pieces of his body, a body part is NOT a relic (exception to this would be hair, fingernail clippings, etc.). Ripping Off The Von Erichs?

 • I've noticed something about the Claw of Fail, IMO, I think it's a ripoff of The Von Erich Claw, a move made famous by the Von Erichs (if anyone watches pro wrestling, they're legends here in Texas, where I live, who all but one, are all dead.) Could Chris took the claw straight out of World Class Championship Wrestling vids on YouTube, or does he even like wrestling at all?--UJ1A1985 07:38, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Chris isn't known to be much of a fan of Pro Wrestling. As someone with a Claw of Fail of my own as a child, having never heard of the Von Erichs, I think this one can be chalked up to coincidence. CWCspatcher 18:29, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
