On 13 June 2009, Chris broke is 27 year period of abstaining from alcohol and had a sip of Long Island Iced Tea:
Chris reportedly tried the drink because he saw Marge Simpson have it in an episode of The Simpsons, and because it didn't sound like a very alcoholic drink.
For reference, a Long Island Iced Tea contains:
- 1 Part Vodka
- 1 Part Tequila
- 1 Part Rum
- 1 Part Gin
- 1 Part Orange Liqueur
- 1 Part Lemon Syrup
- A splash of Coca Cola
So yeah, not very alcoholic at all.
