Suitressing refers to the practice of oversimplifying a person or thing into a familiar archetype that they may not entirely fit into.
The practice is named after the Suitress Policy, a policy directed towards Fiona Cooper which has taken cues from the Wallflower Policy. While the policy was in place, Fiona was referred to as "The Suitress".
