Yeah, I have no idea what it's about. I admit I'm not the most up-to-date on popular memes (or obscure ones for that matter) but this doesn't seem to have anything to do with Chris or Christory and it isn't a holiday or major event that other people celebrate or recognize. I also think it's fine to have one-day event banners that aren't totally related to christory. It's just a bit of fun yknow. I was thinking of making a banner for Kanye's birthday for example. They could still reference CWC in the bubble of course. I should also note that the CWCki and the wider CWC community in general has a habit of people injecting random internet crap into CWC related crap such as the CWCki. You know that's not a good thing, right? Inserting random crap into the CWCki isn't something we should be encouraging, that's the sort of thing that unfunny spammers do. Doing some fun one-off images, sure, but making banners on the home page for stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with Chris isn't what I'd consider a worthy addition to the site.

Not to mention, if the intention is to honor 4chan's birthday, wouldn't it make more sense to do so in a way that references Chris (4-cent garbage, etc) rather than the wojaks which doesn't have anything to do with Chris? Anaxis (talk) 17:39, 2 October 2023 (EDT)

I'm not rooting for completely going off the CWC-related-rails, all I'm saying is I think it would be fun to have banners for important internet-related or cultural events. I also said that the bubbles would reference Chris. About the Chud banner, wojaks are more recognizable, and Chud specifically is popular in the CWCki Discord server. Using modern jokes is one thing, using an inside joke from the server is another. Because it's an inside joke - nobody who casually views the site and isn't in the server is going to get it. Believe me, I understand - I used to run the place - but I can see the difference between what's funny in the context of the server and what's funny on the website, and I think that's the main issue here, aside from not having to do with Chris.

Also, I left a message on your talk page about steamrolling the decisions of other editors, and you've only been doing it more since I wrote that. Stop edit warring.
