:I also am wary about this counter and what it could inadvertently encourage. Flutter hasn't done anything egregious to deserve this much scrutiny, all she's done is hang out with Chris and try to avoid the limelight, neither of which are crimes. Even disregarding that, we shouldn't have a counter on the front page about anything that doesn't directly have to do with Chris, the subject of the wiki. I added it because I got positive feedback about it and a lot of people liked it and said it was a nice addition. We had the sighting counter for a while now and Chris doesn't appear to have ever been specifically visited by weens. Plus, I don't believe that Flutter cares, especially as she hadn't send us any message to remove her from the CWCki. :I don't think it's a good assumption that just because Flutter hasn't reached out to the people that are desperately trying to learn more about her, it doesn't mean she doesn't care. Wouldn't reaching out to the CWCki just give people more of a reason to take interest in her? She doesn't owe us any feedback about her presence on the website; if she's choosing to ignore it, that's her choice, but it doesn't mean it's permission for us to be obnoxiously intrusive into her life. | |||
:If you want to keep the counter, then fine, you can put it on your userpage or something. But it doesn't belong on the front page. [[User:Anaxis|Anaxis]] ([[User talk:Anaxis|talk]]) 04:00, 27 March 2024 (EDT) |

Is this in good taste?
I know we're starved for content to put in the front page counter, but I feel like this is getting a bit too close to encouraging stalking/harassing someone who is either genuinely Chris' friend or at the very least tolerates him enough to hang out with him in good faith. Maybe it's just me, but this is starting to feel like a repeat of Megan. Fiddy (talk) 21:51, 25 March 2024 (EDT)
