: Possibly, at least some of this. Chris and English would ideally only cover Chris's frequent weird word usages and grammatical stumbling; I thought this article would cover things at higher level than that. The English article is also currently a bit weird case: I kept writing about Chris's semantics, but some people thought that stuff might better be discussed in Autism (or perhaps, in my opinion, yet another split article). --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 19:21, 2 December 2009 (CET)

If we're going to make fun of Chris for being a shitty writer, this page should probably be written with at least, you know, proper grammar; less purple prose would be nice too. But I can't be arsed to do it right now so I'm gonna bitch about it here. At least that way it'll show up in my watchlist and I won't forget about it. --sonichuis44 19:49, 4 December 2009 (CET)
To be fair, the extravagant language is probably intended to make a point. Namely, that you don't have to use the same words over and over. But still, you got a point. I'll clean things up a little, but really, my grammar is only marginally better than Chris's. --Jump 23:07, 4 December 2009 (CET)
: Welll-l, as the one who wrote most of the article, I'd say it's more like this: with just a little bit of practice, you too can learn to write in a manner that is not quite boring and pointless. Chris, on the other hand, obviously struggles to write. ...wait, that's the same thing as you said, isn't it? *sigh* I'm sorry if my verbiage veers most verbose at times - please do clean it up if you can... =) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 02:48, 5 December 2009 (CET)
Fantastic article. One thing on exposition - I think this goes back to Chris's autism. I forget how it's described but one trait of autism is that they tend to assume that other people know what they know. It's like in the Sonichu comics - Chris assumes we know who Mary Lee Walsh, Sarah Hammer, etc. because he knows who they are and therefore so should we. It took a while for people to figure out that these were based on real people. So yeah. --Champthom 09:52, 8 December 2009 (CET)

Probably too minor point to mention in the article, but it's a bit ironic that MLW is quoting the witches' line from Macbeth. The play is basically about a crazyhead (Macbeth) digging his own grave after following vague hints from truth-speaking trolls (the witches)... --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 13:45, 15 August 2010 (PDT)

Possibly, at least some of this.

I did most of the lyrics and poetry section. --Spandam-sama 01:05, 3 December 2009 (CET)

If we're going to make fun of Chris for being a shitty writer, this page should probably be written with at least, you know, proper grammar; less purple prose would be nice too. To be fair, the extravagant language is probably intended to make a point. Namely, that you don't have to use the same words over and over. But still, you got a point. I'll clean things up a little, but really, my grammar is only marginally better than Chris's. --Jump 23:07, 4 December 2009 (CET)

Welll-l, as the one who wrote most of the article, I'd say it's more like this: with just a little bit of practice, you too can learn to write in a manner that is not quite boring and pointless.

To Kill a Mockingbird

Should this book have its own article here? At least, Chris's bastardised recollection of it, as shown in his conversation with Kacey's fatherKnucklechu 12:04, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

 • We could make a Books page, to discuss times Chris have mentioned the books he's read, that way we could also merge RL Stein into that page. --Champthom 04:40, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Rewrite

I'm a bit torn here. On the other hand, the shorter version is very awesome; I always felt that I was being a little bit unsystematic and rambling-prone here. On the other hand, this is one of the articles which would benefit from listing the multiple problems in detail, and offer some illustration of why some of the things Chris does is bad. In summary: good job cutting the article down, but I need to think how to best reintroduce some of the old stuff; following your good example, it's not going to be back in form of a gigantic rambling ball of cruft, so rest easy. =) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 08:17, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Probably too minor point to mention in the article, but it's a bit ironic that MLW is quoting the witches' line from Macbeth.
