Chris reportedly tried the drink because he saw Marge Simpson have it in an episode of The Simpsons, and because it didn't sound like a very alcoholic drink.
For reference, a Long Island Iced Tea contains:
*1 Part Vodka
*1 Part Tequila
*1 Part Rum
*1 Part Gin
*1 Part Orange Liqueur
*1 Part Lemon Syrup
*A splash of Coca Cola
So yeah, not very alcoholic at all.
Chris went on record saying the drink 'Goes down salty, but it's pretty tasty'.
