This page is up for speedy deletion, because I'm moving it to my user sandbox.
Every ounce of it will be shot to the moon unless a convincing case for its preservation is made on its talk page.
{{QuickCrop}} (Usage) creates a crop of an image inline for previewing the look and feel of a page, or for linking to full images when a slight crop is preferred in an article, but the full image is more encyclopaedic in general. Where only a small section of the image is used after the crop, it's best to upload the crop as a new file, to avoid sending the extra image data to users. It is designed to be more intuitive and faster than Template:CSS_image_crop.
This template uses percents of the full image dimensions, rather than literal pixels.
Usage
{{QuickCrop |Image = The Name of the image file, or may accept {{Annotated image}}. |x1 = The leftmost pixel of the image to crop, formatted as a percent. |x2 = The rightmost pixel of the image to crop, formatted as a percent. |x1 = The topmost pixel of the image to crop, formatted as a percent. |x2 = The bottommost pixel of the image to crop, formatted as a percent. |ScaleWidth = After cropping is done, scales the image to a certain width. |Location = 'right', 'left', 'center' or 'none'. Determines placement of the image on the page Defaults to 'right' when description is provided (as is default for thumb images) When description is blank, location on left (as is default for non-thumbs) |Description = Description (using thumbnail) }}
