What really infuriates me about Chris's Mary Sues in particular is how they whip out supernatural powers as a way to arbitrarily get themselves out of danger. Especially psychic powers. Though I'm afraid we'd just end up reiterating the obvious, i.e. Chris wants mighty magic powers delivered for arbitrary reasons so he doesn't have to actually work hard to solve things. What really infuriates me about Chris's Mary Sues in particular is how they whip out supernatural powers as a way to arbitrarily get themselves out of danger. Especially psychic powers.
