:*This article isn't about Chris. It's about the comic publishing industry. I understand it may be very interesting for those interested in comics, but people do not come here to read about the comic industry. One may care about Nickleback - that does not entitle you to write an article on how Chris might join the band. This has little relevance to Chris (especially since he's essentially given up drawing Sonichu anyway), and deserves no more than a paragraph in the Sonichu (comic) page. --Delabonte 05:14, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

:** I've usually written these articles on the premise that people might want to know some background information on the topic. If you want to say "Chris has a delusion about X, which is stupid", that's fine and good, but it doesn't necessarily tell people why it's stupid. "Chris wanted to have a career in comic industry, which was a laughable idea" isn't very helpful either, because it wouldn't tell why it was a stupid idea. We're not here just to catalogue Chris's character flaws; we're also supposed to, to certain extent, back those assertions with facts. That said, I agree that this article could be cut down and possibly merged somewhere, but I don't think it's fit just for Sonichu (comic) - how about Chris's resume too? I'll probably put a comment or two there when I get around to that. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 09:56, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

This is interesting, but do we really need an entire article about it? I mean, isn't there already something that hasn't been said in say, the Sonichu (game) article? Or perhaps in Sonichu (comic)? This is really interesting and I know wwwwolf started it and he knows that sort of thing, but it's too much of an essay on its own and not entirely encyclopedic and furthermore, could be incorporated elsewhere. Thoughts? --Champthom 20:00, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

• I think this is one of the best articles I've read on here in a while. In a nutshell Chris's life ambition is to get Sonichu published as a game and a comic but expects the companies to come to him and this to all magically happen, like when he makes a Youtube video addressing someone or something and expects that person or company to watch it. This is a really good summary of how Chris's ideas will never be published, if they were publishable. --Anaconda 21:14, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
• Chris is a strange man with curious ideas on how the society is supposed to work, that much we know. I primarily split it into an article of its own because I couldn't figure out which articles it actually belongs to. Bulk of the material here comes from Chris and art and Sonichu (game), but they really concern the same issue: Chris's notions about how the creative industries work. In other words, I just got a strange gut feeling that this is a) one of those big factors that Chris does ,and will, stumble in, and b) it's one of those things that kind of affect him generally; it's not strictly limited to the comic or the video game aspirations. If you would want to generalise the article further, perhaps this could be turned into some sort of a look at Chris's (frequently unrealistic) employment aspirations in general. I know, the "essayishness" can be a problem here - I guess I should think how to summarise some of this stuff... --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 23:45, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
• There's some discussion somewhere on a talk page about publishing industry that some more information can be culled from, though I think much of it is already here. BubblegumPinkButler 23:47, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
• Found it. BubblegumPinkButler 23:47, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
• Yup, I looked there too a few times, but didn't put much thought into the additional points yet. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 12:58, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
• And another thing: I sort of started this article also because I thought it would fit the current theme: Chris leaving the internet and trying to face the reality. Of course, he has not really actually done anything worthwhile yet and will probably be back at full swing soon... --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 12:58, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
• DELETE. This article shouldn't exist. It's all hypothetical, and obviously written by an Autistic warrior or Asperger's limelight stealer. Who cares about the comic industry? Chris has drawn a comic and expressed a wish for it to be published (there is no evidence he has ever tried). Do we really need an article that details (at fanatically boring length) about how he might break into the industry? --Delabonte 16:20, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
• One person's opinion isn't enough to get this article deleted. Also, lots of people care about the comic industry. Pfargtl9000 Spam and Eggs 16:29, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
