Is this really necessary? We've had counters for all sorts of things in the past, but all of them were prone to change on a daily basis. This is basically a static fact, and although it's interesting to know how many days he's been offline, the rest is not really necessary in a counter because it's not going to change for at almost 3 months (which would change the "longest quit attempt" thing by loloneday). | Is this really necessary? tl;dr: Keep the "days offline" thing, but the rest has no place on the front page. Freecell 15:58, 25 November 2010 (PST) | tl;dr: Keep the "days offline" thing, but the rest has no place on the front page. Freecell 15:58, 25 November 2010 (PST) | ||
I don't think Chris should be given the credit of actually appearing to have quit the internet. Even saying "without appearing on the internet" would look a bit better. --Thorgnzorrg 21:52, 28 November 2010 (PST) |

Attempts to leave the internet
For the purposes of this counter, an attempt to leave the internet refers to a video where Chris announced he was leaving the internet. Technically (as of writing this message) he has only really quit the internet about 3 times. Chris uploading a video is not necessarily him breaking his vow to quit - take 27 May 2010 & 31 May 2010 for example. The second video is more of a follow-up to the first - the second video is not a fresh quit attempt, but more a repeat of the announcement made in the first video.
However, it's fun to exaggerate on CWCki (where exaggeration is not just making shit up). If anyone has a reason why we should stick to the TRUE AND HONEST quit count, feel free to say so. --Anonymax 10:43, 25 November 2010 (PST)
- Hard to say if he's ever escaped from the internet's warm embrace (PSN, logging into Youtube, etc.), but I agree that it's fun to exaggerate. Shinji 10:00, 27 November 2010 (PST)
Is this really necessary? We've had counters for all sorts of things in the past, but all of them were prone to change on a daily basis. This is basically a static fact, and although it's interesting to know how many days he's been offline, the rest is not really necessary in a counter because it's not going to change for at almost 3 months (which would change the "longest quit attempt" thing by loloneday). tl;dr: Keep the "days offline" thing, but the rest has no place on the front page.
