== Confirmed: Chris is not Native American ==
I've traced all branches of the Chandler clan (Bob's ancestors, as Barb's are easily found already) back to at least the 18th century - to the 17th century in some cases - and can confirm that he is solely of British Isles background with the exception of some very distant (1600's) French.  If I were to incorporate this into the article, would a link to a family tree with no sources be okay?  I assume you don't want an Ancestry link, but that's where my primary sources are.  I'll go ahead and do it if nobody objects. --[[User:Thelp|Thelp]] ([[User talk:Thelp|talk]]) 22:48, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

  • Chris's drawings of American Indians are oddly similar to the way they are portrayed by Mormons. --Švek 11:52, 10 October 2010 (PDT)
  • Does Chris not watch very many classic cartoons? Quite a few depict American Indians in, if not exactly realistic, at least, I don't know, a more swarthy, less European manner. "Wagon Heels" (Clampett, 1945) is a personal favorite. You can view it here. --The Iconoclast 13:54, 6 June 2011 (PDT)
  • I guess I've never really read what "fraction" Native American Chris is until today and I'd like to state a fact I strongly believe needs to be put SOMEWHERE. Either here, or in the article about Chris and lying. I, myself, am part Native American (an extremely small part Inuit and Sioux) and if Chris WAS 1/16 Native American he would get a monthly amount of money from the Government. While his parents would have to "claim" their N.A. status (though with money and Chris involved...they would have done it if they could), Chris could get big bucks for being 1/16 N.A. (which is quite a bit these days). That also means, his mother or father (I forget what side it's from) would be 1/8 NA (HUGE AMOUNT now a days) and they could get loads of money a month (they have to prove NA status of course). I can't see Chris's parents not taking some route for money; it may be that they just don't know that they can get money for being a Cherokee. Either way, I highly doubt Chris is actually 1/16 Cherokee (if he really is at all). I think it might be like being related to Anne Boleyn, something he says to either get attention or get away with something. "I can't be racist because I'm Native American" or something.
TL;DR I feel it needs to be mentioned that Chris is more likely than not NOT 1/16 Cherokee Indian (if at all). --4Macie 18:19, 16 June 2011 (PDT)
    • Chris never said what fraction he was. A lot of whites who have a tiny amount of black ancestry claim to to be part-native Eamoo 04:23, 17 June 2011 (PDT)
      • In his emails to Jackie, he says multiple times that he's 1/16 Cherokee Indian. Just thought I'd point that out. Hmm...I wonder if some 'ancestry' website would help out with this. If he is indeed 1/16 (of NA or Black), I bet it'd be within the great grandparents or something. --4Macie 15:23, 17 June 2011 (PDT)
      • In the Regina Email, he states he's 1/32 Cherokee from his father's side. And I found some stuff from an Ancestry site, and from his father's side there is no one (up to his great grandfather) who would be native american OR black (which would be required to be 1/16 or 1/32 of anything). I don't know where or even if any of this information can be placed and used; but now I'm certain that Chris is not only stupid (which we all knew) but he's also using the "I'm Cherokee" as a way to 'attract' attention and potential ladies (something that shouldn't surprise anyone). --4Macie 06:36, 19 June 2011 (PDT)
  • Another minor detail, in the video screencap, Chris appears to have a Scottish flag painted on his chest --MrMash 13:15, 26 October 2011 (PDT)
