According to Chris, "Noviophobia" is a word he created that describes as his fear of girls not being boyfriend-free. Scientific names for fears are usually developed from Greek words, but Chris only knows Spanish so he used <i>novio</i>, for "boyfriend."


He used the Spanish word for boyfriend, which he incorrectly assumed was "Noio" (it's really "novio").
The word is alternately spelled "Noiophobia," as it appears in Christian's letter to Nintendo Power about how [[Sprung]] has helped this condition.  It's unclear if Chris misspelled it in his letter, but he has gotten it right in [[Story of My Current Days|other documents]].
