CWCki:Style

From CWCki

This page is a style guide for the CWCki, to help keep articles consistent and easy to read.

Refer to Chris as "Chris"

"Chris-chan" is too ED and too long when "Chris" works just fine (and Chris rarely refers to himself as "Chris-chan" except in the context of his fursona Chris-Chan Sonichu). Of course, if you're referring to Chris-Chan Sonichu, then Chris-Chan is fine.

Christian is alright as well.

Use male pronouns for Chris

For the sake of consistency with previous entries and to maintain coherence throughout the articles, editors are advised to refer to Chris using male pronouns. While discussions around Chris's gender identity are always welcome, the use of "he/him" pronouns here reflects how Chris has been described in past documentation on the CWCki.

Utilize your User Page

Editors who are planning significant rewrites or overhauls of existing pages are encouraged to make use of their user pages to draft and refine their changes before applying them to the main article. This practice allows for more thorough editing, feedback, and reduces the risk of disrupting the flow or accuracy of established pages.

Categorize your files

When uploading files to the CWCki, editors should always try to add appropriate categories. Properly categorized files make it easier for other users to find and reference any media across the site. Taking a moment to add the proper categories to each file helps keep the CWCki tidy and more useful for everyone.
