This is an inline template used to mark sources that don't actually prove what they say they do. When used, the page displays "failed verification" in superscript next to the sentence. The format for using this template is as follows:

Chris has been sentenced to death via electric chair by Greene County Court.<ref>[[Jail Letter - 19 September 2021]]</ref>{{Failed verification|explanation=Chris doesn't say anything like this in the letter.}}
