To do

  • Get Chris's quotes on the origins of his love quest
  • Write about the misadventures of his love quest, as seen in the comics
  • End of love quest?
  • text of Chris's description of the dream he had that inspired it. --Champthom 18:53, 10 February 2009 (CET)

Origins

The origins section needs a bit clean up. Not that it's bad or anything, just there's actually three different stories on how the Love Quest originated:

1) Sarah Hammer - Chris has said in Mumble chats and IRC that the love quest started because he was jealous of Wes Iseli being with Sarah Hammer, started noticing people being "paired up" and is like "Gee, I need to be paired up because everyone else is!", etc.

2) Getting kicked out of the English class - as per his wiki page, Chris's explanation is that on his 21st birthday, he got kicked out of an English class, he sat down and cried and he felt so lonely because he had no one to care for him. This supports strongly the "Chris needs a mommy he can fuck" theory of his love quest.

3) The dream - Chris has indicated in early medium (his ED edits, I believe, MySpace, etc. and it's definitely alluded to Chris's letter to Blanca) that what started the love quest was that he had this dream where God and Jesus told him that he needed to find a sweetheart to build from the ground up to give birth to his God chosen daughter Crystal Weston Chandler.

These aren't mutually exclusive and all kinda amusing explanations, so they really should be documented. --Champthom 01:08, 26 May 2009 (CEST)

  • 1 and 2 are explained in good detail, but really need more on three, maybe see if we can find any way of seeing the time lag between when Chris had this dream and his love quest. I'm starting to wonder if perhaps the love quest started before his dream about Crystal and that the whole Crystal dream was fuel to the fire. --Champthom 09:38, 22 November 2009 (CET)

Manga

This probably doesn't belong in the article, but I want to say it somewhere: There's actually a manga called Love Quest. It's boy's love.--Lime (Scold? | Undo?) 00:39, 27 March 2009 (CET)
