My Own Rambles
Hey, everyone else is doing it, why not me?
Chris and his Exile
Ever since Chris declared he was leaving the internet forever for the second time in a year, many trolls have pointed a finger at one person - Rocky Shoemaker. I can see why people want to do that - she was one of the main reasons why the Ivy Saga got shut down so fast. But, as Champ keeps saying, even though it seems like it's Rocky, it's not her.
My guess? It's Chris's youth group.
Most likely, what had happened was that after the Wallflower had been revealed to the world and she learned of the CWCki, someone, somewhere, decided that it was time for Chris to stop. There's a span of, at least, 11 days between the day Wallflower found out about everything and the day Chris declared he was leaving. Remember, he said in his "farewell" video that he had revealed too much information. My theory on this is that Chris rambled on about the CWCki, one of the people looked it up, found themselves in awe over how much had been revealed and decided that if Chris was going to stop all this, he was going to have to leave the internet.
However, "leaving the internet" is just "not posting any videos on YouTube". As one can see, Chris can't live without the 'net. He knows its the only way to get Sonichu seen - he refuses to actually work to get the series up through other means. At the same time, he knows he's on "punishment" - whoever is controlling his strings is watching his every move and making sure he doesn't do anything that would give the trolls a rise. Why do you think his CWCki edits were much more full of fail? Not just because he fails, but because if he did anymore, his babysitter would notice.
So, he basically tries to do everything covertly. He sneaks small updates on the CWCipedia every once in awhile, making sure that his little hand holder doesn't notice him back. He's acting like the little kid who's been caught, but he continues any way, but covertly. Like everyone has said, though, it's only a matter of time before his hand holder lets him go and it's only a matter of time before Chris declares war.
GAMe PLACe Aftermath
Who'da think that Chris would pull a stunt like this? Correction, who'da think that he'd pull this stunt and have it work?
As everyone's pointing out, this is probably the end result of the "Babysitter"'s attempt to wean Chris off the Internet - Chris has got it in his head that if he's away from the Internet and away from those Damn Dirty Trolls, that everything would be okay! This feels like something from a movie - Character A was doing something bad, thus everyone pulled away from him. Soon, Character A decides to abandon that thing and everyone would welcome him back.
Sadly, this isn't a movie. Michael banned Chris the first time for a month, hoping the idiot would realize that what he was doing was wrong. Sadly, it did nothing and Michael laid the banhammer on Chris, kicking him out for good. Chris thinks that a lot of sugar coating and knee-begging would do the trick to get him back in. To a normal person, there's a lot more to that. To Chris, it's perfect and its a shock to him when the person is unfazed by Chris's pleading.
It probably doesn't help that he used a script, too.
Theory over Chris's Gal-Pal page
Between the release of Chris's Gal-Pal pages and the release of Jackie's e-mails, I think I can see a connection between the two and have an idea as to why Chris started the Gal-Pal pages.
On April 18th, Chris tells Jackie to Google the CWCki. At that time, Chris has probably realized he's made the biggest mistake in his (as far as he knows) life - he's allowed an innocent woman to see what the trolls have written about him. After being corrupted by the SLANDEROUS HALF-TRUTHS AND EXAGGERATED LIES, Jackie was lost to him - she was asking too many questions and being too much of a pain. She had to go.
Realizing that if he got another girlfriend, he'd lose her again to the CWCki and the trolls, Chris decided to write up the page. He wasn't going to let the trolls get another gal-pal. He'd have the material all set up that HE wants to reveal.
Trolling Chris: Next Chapter?
You know, looking over the incidents with Jackie and Sydney, I've come to realize you can't just troll Chris the same way twice. Or at the very least, the same way 12 different times. While I'm not in the actual trolling scheme of things (no, I just work out the articles here), I have noticed a few things about those who have trolled Chris and what they've done. I think to troll Chris ver. 2010, you're going to hafta do this a new way. If you're going to do the old e-girlfriend way, I do have some thoughts as to how to spice it up.
1) Enough of the super sexy women. Yes, Chris wants to fuck sexy women. But does she have to look like some uber-model? The Wallflower was enough for him, why not something like that?
2) Stop poking at old wounds. I don't care how you found him, he'll be turned off if you go for Asperchu or Liquid Chris or something like that.
3) Be realistic as possible. Seriously, Chris is getting smart here - it's time to get smarter. Think up of something that hasn't been done, or at the very least, show that you're just as plain as he is.
Random Ramblings
Reading the Video games entry and its latest additions made me chuckle a bit - especially in terms of his utter customization drive. I'm reminded of his major list of video games and how there's always a pattern of some sort - especially since it's "buy Sonic, Pokemon and Transformers" (One has to wonder, though - you think he's also focused on Heart Gold/Soul Silver as well as GOW3?). Anyway, one of the game franchises I'm surprised he didn't really get into was the Gundam ones. While I'm glad he didn't, many of the recently released games did have a lot of customization on hand.
Examples:
- Gundam: Encounters in Space - The sequel to Journey to Jaburo is easily the most customizable of the games outside of an RPG. It had a pilot creation mode that had you complete missions to gain experience points and make your perfect pilot. It wouldn't of been unreasonable to have Chris create himself as some hero for the Federation (I'd doubt he'd really make himself part of Zeon). Mecha customization wasn't that big - mostly weapon stuff.
- Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow - While this game doesn't have the major customization I was talking about (just the "shove pilot A into machine B for laughs"), there is one thing I remember about it that gets me laughing - there are hidden soundbites you can unlock that has the series' major pro- and antagonists giving out different little messages (wake up, good night, phone call, mail, cheer ups). I would not have a doubt in my mind that, if Chris knew this game existed, he would spend all day using the soundbites of three of the series' main female characters (Lacus Clyne, Cagalli Yula Atha and Flay Allster) to cheer him up. Then again, Cagalli's and Flay's end up with the two telling the player don't think too much into it.
- MS Saga: A New Dawn - Encounters in Space had the customization in pilots. MS Saga has that but for the Mobile Suits. Of course, since it isn't major customization like the Sackboys, there's no way Chris would be able to make the Sonichu Gundam (he could, however, make John's Custom Gundam - pfft!) Sadly, this is an RPG and since we know he isn't majorly into RPGs that isn't Pokemon, it's highly unlikely he got this and enjoyed it.
Makes me glad he doesn't get into these sorts of things...
Sonichu: The Video Game
I remember, during the whole Mailbag event, someone had an idea to make a Sonichu fangame, free of charge and everything. Chris ignored it because he wanted something more than fan satisfaction: he wanted cold hard cash. Frankly, I'd think, if Chris wanted to make a video game out of Sonichu, a fangame would have been his best bet to show off what the game could have been like. Of course, we all know how Chris is, so, he wouldn't buy it because he has to show it off or none at all.
Now, out of boredom, I began thinking: could there BE a way to make Sonichu into a game franchise without enraging Nintendo and SEGA? And simply put, the answer is a resounding YES. However, to do this, it would take a MASSIVE revision of the entire Sonichu story, just to eradicate the Sonic/Pokemon/Transformers/Power Rangers/etc. connections to it. At the same time, though, you also have to retain SOME of the characteristics that make the characters well-known.
Y'know, I think it would be interesting to see this played STRAIGHT. No pickles, no JULAAAAAAAAY, no Jerkops and all that. Just a flat out normal game.
Some thoughts/ideas/etc.:
- Changing the Sonichus/Rosechus into generic rodents. They don't need to be Pokemon or Hedgehogs here. Just simple mice, really! Keep a cartoonish look, yet make it not so much like their current looks.
- Rename characters and alter backgrounds: It's obvious we can't have have the characters as is. Need new names that match them well, yet isn't drawing from the usual.
- The elemental theme: Some of the characters have connections to the whole 4/5 elements (Sonichu: energy, Wild: Earth, Bubbles: Water, Angelica: Air. I think Wes-Li was Fire) Have something like that in this game.
More later. Need sleep.
