While in theory that Ghostbusters really shouldn't get an entire article, this does explain why the fuck Chris uses a shitty version of Ghostbusters instead of the well known one.

Also, can someone get a pic of that car from the original cartoon? The "Oww, my Axels" car is apparently from the original series (though the "OWW! MY AXELS!" face is all Evan). --Champthom 14:04, 18 May 2009 (CEST)

Does Chris even heard or saw the one we all know and love (which is also one of the Urvster's favorite movies)? I still think his parents bought the bargain bin version, because the RGB tapes could been pricey for them (they were released in 1986, then re-released in 1991.) While Filmation's GB did come first, they're inferior to the one we all know and love (despite Filmation doing a decent job on their DC Comics cartoons in the 60's, their GB show is still inferior.)--UJ1985 08:57, 16 October 2009 (CEST)

Filmation were going to make the Dan Ackroyd version of Ghostbusters at ne point to appease them in a copyright lawsuit. But Sony pulled out when they found a Japanese studio to make it. In hindsight, the anime look to RGB really added to it's charm, and it's REALLY anime like if you watch them again now!--UncleBastard 09:02, 16 October 2009 (CEST)
Chris does seem to know the real Ghostbusters anthem, as in the High School Story, it's mentioned that Mary Lee Walsh and Count Graduon weren't "afraid of no ghost." I wonder if he knows the other cartoon exists at all, or anything about the blockbuster movies and recent video game. If he does know anything about it, why doesn't he reference it--or, like Bionicle, has he just not gotten around to stealing from it yet? Or perhaps this is more evidence for lacking a quality filter as well as a complete inability to get past third-grade reading material in complexity. Ensign disposable 18:28, 16 October 2009 (CEST)
