>>Lets see: Widespread plagiarism artistic borrowing, a lack of artistic unity, a lack of professional quality in works that are presented as such (hello vanity publishing/sonichu copyright), self promotion in unrelated places, and a superpowered SI surrounded by boyfriend free girls women to make up for an underwhelming real life... Yeah, it's like I'm reading Sonichu© light. We've even got the same regurgitation of tv lines.

Re: "Fuzzy Door empire", Books for college, the “ObamaCable Box”& dorm-brothels

Getting money for writing and vanity publishing with the hope that it will net you money isn't the same thing and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone making a consequential amount through the second way.
Self-publishing is the new big thing in media. Although web-publishing may never replace the dead-tree format, many entrepreneurs have made a go of it. Some links for you:

I funded my first abortive attempt at schooling with a grant and it took years to pay off. To say nothing of two failed small businesses, my idiot brother's growing drug habit, and my largely stagnating writing career leaving me with massive debt. I hate asking for handouts and I won't be in debt to the government. The problem isn't the money; I'm trying to clear my good name and get the flag lifted on my records at my old alma mater. I was threatened with arrest jsut for asking to visit and use a CD burner on campus for my latest book project. These are really sick people who need to be removed from power.

...I really hope you don’t think college is supposed to be like that.
