The idea is to put this on the front page in a way that will spotlight articles that have potential but could use improvement. There's a lot of excellent articles here like Homos and Excel-Saga and there can be more articles like these. --Champthom 08:43, 10 April 2009 (CEST)

Emily

I think the Emily article has gone almost as far as it can go. Might I suggest an article like sex tape that is less shrouded in secrecy? --Delabonte 05:42, 6 May 2009 (CEST)

Improvement articles for the next month or so

I think for the next month, let's focus on finishing transcribing all the media that needs to be transcribed. There are lots of people who aren't completely familiar with the Mumble chats when they're a wealth of information. So we'll go through and transcribe everything that needs transcription until someone finishes transcribing them. --Champthom 04:20, 21 December 2009 (CET)

  • Champthom, I have a SRS BSNS proposition. Hear me out. I know you said my Summary/Analysis to the Chris chan (CWCipedia) article is too big. It's true. However, the way it is now, it (I hope) gives people a useful extract of the most interesting and important info found in the article itself. However, I didn't want to talk about that article now. Look at the Mumble/IRC chat logs. For some people they're most often long and tedious to read. Sometimes they contain valuable insights, sometimes they just go like "Chris u gay lol – NO I'M NOT HURR DURR". I propose the creation of Summariy/Analysis additions to the transcribed logs which would give people the interesting/important info without needing to read through the whole log. It wouldn't make the logs never ever read, it just would make reading through them optional – if you want to get not just the basic info, but see exactly how it went. Maybe not every log should have one, maybe there would be one Summary/Analysis for all logs, I dunno. But I feel that such things would be needed – to bring information to the masses the most efficient way possible. Also, Mailbags could probably use one, too. I would gladly help with compiling those, at least as much as I can, based on my time and laziness lol. Whaddya say on it? --GokuGetEm 05:31, 21 December 2009 (CET)
  • Definitely each Mumble should have a summary section, so people don't need to read the entire logs. But the chats themselves do need to be transcribed. It's like reading a Cliff's Notes versus the source material - reading the Cliff's Notes is no substitution for reading the source. Also, a summary by nature tends to highlight things the person writing the summary. Reading the source material allows the reader to form his own opinion on how it's to be interpreted and lead to better insights. Also, a summary for mailbags would be alright as well. --Champthom 05:57, 21 December 2009 (CET)
