Hi there!

Welcome to CWCKI!

Welcome to CWCki! There's a lot to do around here because Chris never does anything himself. I hope you'll stay with us and make many improvements of your own!

Before you start, be sure to read A Quick Guide to CWCki. This will guide you through the dos and don'ts of editing the world's most accurate wiki. Be especially sure to read this if you consider Anonymous to be legion or if you've just come over from ED. Everything you know is wrong.
Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
If you're looking for things to do, check out the priority listing for things that need to be done, or join a project.
If you haven't already, create a user page about yourself! If you do, we'll be able to know you better as a member of our community. Just be sure to check out the guidelines first.
Questions? Please read the FAQ first. Later, you can ask in the Community Portal or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, join the live chat in our IRC channel or post a message on my talk page!
Once again, welcome to CWCki!

Reporting Chris's Notes

I'm not sure what your duty is to Hatena, but you getting his videos taken down and us trying to record all his actions is kinda a conflict of interest.--Beat 02:40, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

  • I agree with this, and I've been trying to come up with a middle ground. The reason they all get reported is because he's trying to get Chris depressed so that he makes a video (at least, that's what I understand of it), which is a worthy cause in my mind. At the same time, it means that our links are constantly being made redundant, and because they get taken down so quickly, there will come a time when nobody will even have it downloaded in time and we will lose out on chris-related shit. I think the best option is that if a person reports, they have to first meet a few criteria.
  1. It has to be OK'd by the editors first. That means we already have a functioning article up.
  2. It has to be downloaded and stored on someone's computer AND someone's DS.
  3. It has to then be re-uploaded on a different account so that we can link to it and get the same experience.
That's what I'm thinking anyway. Thoughts? Thelieisacake 02:46, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Fair enough, Though even though I agree with your idea, there are few flaws with it. For one, Chris locks his Flipnotes. Which pretty much means no one can reupload the flipnote to their account. Also, if for some reason we are able to upload the flipnote to someone else's account, Chris will be automatically be sent a PM saying someone uploaded a "Spin off" of his Flipnote And if there are no changes to the Flipnote at all, Chris has every right to remove the Flipnote. --Djyellow 03:05, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Meh, sorry I have no idea how this system works. The best I can come up with is that if we can get someone he trusts to reupload, he wouldn't then have it removed. For example, if Person S is on Chris' good side and tells him that he/she plans to reupload the flipnotes that get taken down so that Chris can continue to get credit for his work, and if S pretends to advertise Chris' profile (e.g. "This is a reupload of Sonichu's flipnote! Go check out his profile for more awesome flipnotes!"), they might just get past Chris and get his approval. At worst, Chris says no. At best, we get something both parties agree to and can accept. Very well then. That seems okay I suppose.--Djyellow 03:26, 1 July 2010 (UTC)--Djyellow 03:26, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
