Hi. I haven't seen you around here in a while. Welcome back.
I noticed that you've been going through and editing the month articles for 2016. From August onward, I had included a list in each article, linking to posts and videos from that month, and retitled Events to Highlights (I felt this was more fitting, as not everything he does in a month is notable).
I noticed that you've undone those changes. I think it's convenient to have a list separate from Highlights/Events, so the content can be reached quicker. I also noticed that you've removed direct links and simply replaced them with <nowiki>[[Facebook]]</nowiki>. I disagree with that, as it makes it more difficult to find the source material, especially since you removed the list. :Hi, I don't know who this is and I've been gone so long I've forgotten how to communicate on this medium. I'm not even sure if you'll see this. My main concern with the Timeline is consistency. Going all the way back to the beginning, the month-by-month articles have consisted of a single chronological list of everything. I'm just trying to do things the way they've always been done. I think the original mission statement for these pages was to include absolutely everything (not just highlights) with lots of hotlinks so that people can search the site for more details. Personally, I find it valuable to make chronological connections between events, which the list affords. If we should have a separate list for videos and Facebook posts, this should be applied to the entire chronology. If that's what we're going to do, I would prefer to also include those videos and Facebook posts within the Events list, because again, it helps you see connections between his activities. My feeling is that since Facebook posts and videos already have their own monthly or semi-monthly pages, this doesn't need to be repeated in the Timeline month articles, which I feel should be pure chronology. I agree with you that I was wrong to drop the links to the specific Facebook posts. I was acting on autopilot, since this is something else which no one has really done before. I'll stop doing this. Spamming the recent changes
Hi, use the "Show preview" button, please. Your numerous minor edits make the recent changes hard to read. --Gunter (talk) 00:15, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Hi, well done on the hair article, it's much more organised now! Res (talk) 04:51, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Higher Quality Chris Videos
Hi, I've managed to archive the videos Chris uploaded on to YouTube in their original resolution, some even at 640x480px (instead of 480x360px). See here: https://archive.org/details/officialcwcvideos. Hope you enjoy. By the way, why are all of the Mediafire links broken and is it possible to fix them? Letter Z (talk) 01:57, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- Canine asked you which scrapbook images are missing on my talk page. Also, I archived all of TheCWCVille's videos on to the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/chrischanvideos. Letter Z (talk) 03:23, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
- I archived the ISO of his DVD here: https://archive.org/details/C.W.C.YEPIMONT.V. The guy who has a copy can either upload the collection on MediaFire or the Internet Archive. The latter lasts longer. Can you please tell him this? Letter Z (talk) 02:27, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- OK. asperhes, 3/13/15
Appreciation
Hey, just wanted to leave a note of appreciation for all your work editing and updating the CWCki to reflect recent changes in Christory, as well as de-A-Logging some of the content! --Holdek (talk) 16:27, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
