I wonder if someone posing as a school administrator could coax Chris into submitting a formal lesson plan for Date Ed, and if it would be half as entertaining as the Miyamoto Saga. To do
- references to dating education in comics (see especially Sonichu 9)
- references to it in the chatlogs
- explanation why this is a bad idea by nature.
- the real world equivalents and why Chris would hate them anyway. --Champthom 13:26, 17 February 2009 (CET)
- The 'Real World' equivalent would be some sort of specialized respite centre. The Internets tells me they go into minute, concise details for coaching/guidance/practice on everything to meet the goal of being streamlined into society as best as possible. Such a place has certain factors: government funding, plus an area that has both capacity and the infrastructure for it to operate. The other, and this is big, is parental consent. For what Christian desires he would have to be taken away at a young age. His parents were against anything like this as evidenced by his home schooling. Chris would hate this now because in his mind he's not 'Retarded' or 'Slow in the Head' - he just happens to be autistic by the grace of God/Jesus. He, perhaps instilled via his parents, feels he's special, but not actually special enough to get the required help. I think the term for this is called "denial". - Added something on "why this is a bad idea," after a fashion, under "What does this tell us about Chris?" Might be a bit redundant? Feel free to zap it if y'all think it's not necessary. Dkaien 12:39, 07 September 2009 EST
Tweaked the sections a bit to make the first paragraph less wordy. Also, maybe the "Summary" and "Relevance" paragraphs need to be merged? What do you think? GokuGetEm 14:44, 20 November 2009 (CET)
Anyone have any idea where he got his BS statistics? SargentPickles 21:36, 8 April 2010 (EST)
