I don't know for sure that this article is entirely necessary. The censoring that Chris does do is largely in his Mailbag and YouTube comments, the latter really not being terribly unusual for any user, but indeed addressed in their respective articles. -BrokenDead89 22:20, 27 April 2010 (UTC) | I don't know for sure that this article is entirely necessary. *Perhaps. I just thought that this would be a rather interesting subject to cover, seeing as how Christian's Stalin-esque approach to censoring others' criticism often seems to get the better of him, both in his comics and on the internet. --EdtheHedgehog1894 19:55, 27 April 2010 (EST) | *Perhaps. Judging by Chris' recent comments about going back to change past comics, you may be onto something with the "Stalinist" concept. We'll just have to wait and see. Baxter 03:07, 28 April 2010 (UTC) | |||

I'm not sure if it's completely fair to say that the letters published in Nintendo Power are limited to the blind praise variety. I used to have a subscription when I was a teenager (in fact, I think I remember both of Chris' appearances in it) and from what I recall, they published all manner of feedback, negative, positive, and ambivalent. The bulk of the letters were people gently mocking the games, such as one time when they specifically asked people to write in with jokes about what end bosses were doing while waiting for the player to get to them. They didn't publish much in the way of biting critique or hate mail, but it was hardly as masturbatory as we imply in this article. - manwithoutabody 16:09, 17 May 2010 (CEST) |

Self-censorship
It might be wise to separate Chris censoring himself and Chris censoring others in this article. His intentions from one to the other are completely different. --Beat 14:32, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Something worth mentioning?
I'm busy with other CWCki projects ATM, but did someone want to mention File:Cwcmail.png? It's basically the story behind Chris censoring some of the nudity in his comic. -Ronichu 12:23, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
The bit about Nintendo Power
I'm not sure if it's completely fair to say that the letters published in Nintendo Power are limited to the blind praise variety. I used to have a subscription when I was a teenager (in fact, I think I remember both of Chris' appearances in it) and from what I recall, they published all manner of feedback, negative, positive, and ambivalent. The bulk of the letters were people gently mocking the games, such as one time when they specifically asked people to write in with jokes about what end bosses were doing while waiting for the player to get to them.
