*I live in Charlottesville, and this article seems really weird to me. It's not a big town, and I'm sure it's small potatoes from the perspective of major metro area dwellers, but as a college town it's unusually active for a city of its size. Actually, a lot of the appeal of Charlottesville for many of its residents is that it's fairly cosmopolitan for a town that isn't part of a major city's expansive sprawl. Ruckersville is definitely a bedroom community with nothing going on, but the article kinda makes it sound more isolated than it really is. Neither Richmond nor NoVa are a particularly arduous drive.
That's aside from the fact that whoever originally wrote the article seemed to think that "C-ville" was Chris's invention and part of his CWCville delusion; C-ville is a fairly common abbreviation. Actually saying it out loud a lot would be like those people who call Orange County "The OC" all the time, but we have the Cville Weekly newspaper, cvillemovies.com, etcetera.

To do
Some more stuff on Charlottesville. Lately, he's been patriotic about his town, mostly because it gets him exposure and makes him look like a better member of the community and it frames his struggle against the trolls as a patriotic battle for his town's honor. --Champthom 18:59, 14 August 2009 (CEST)
- Think I might put together something on the city's place in Virginia at large, comparative isolation, etc. One thing that springs to mind -- has Chris ever mentioned whether he's actually left his hometown? Left the state of Virginia? What's the farthest he's ever been from home? Dkaien 03:24, 8 November 2009 (CET)
- He went on that trip to Ohio to meet Julie, he did take a trip to California to meet his brother Cole Smithey once, and he's gone to some anime cons. --Champthom 03:47, 8 November 2009 (CET)
- His parents filed a missing persons report when he left for Ohio. I'm unsure how long he was gone for, but he was apparently inconsiderate enough to not to tell his parents he was leaving the state. --05:22, 8 November 2009 (CET)
- Okey, cool, I remembered the Julie disaster, but I'd never read about the California trip. I wouldn't say the AMA trips really count, I defy anybody to tell the Richmond suburbs apart from the Charlottesville suburbs, even if they've lived there... Dkaien 04:28, 8 November 2009 (CET)
On Location
Added the "on location" menu to this article. If anyone is curious or wants to discuss these additions, you can do so in my sandbox where I am currently experimenting with them. --Fuckingstupid 00:22, 17 November 2009 (CET)

- I live in Charlottesville, and this article seems really weird to me.
