Just making this entry to say that I'm elated this article got page of the week. I joined the Cwcki wanting to update the Sonichu lore articles and raise awareness of all the insanity that had befallen Cwcville since the Dimensional Merge saga began. I'm really happy to see I achieved my goal and I hope this generates even more interest in Sonichu lore and the insane changes Chris has made to his little world. --JackBlackStack (talk) 20:47, 24 August 2020 (UTC) | Just making this entry to say that I'm elated this article got page of the week. ==Akan as a coping mechanism rewrite?== | |||
While this section works well as cap off for the article I'm not sure if it's entirely accurate. Chris hasn't mentioned Akan in years, he sees himself as God, and disregards any inconsistencies with his premonitions as "da merge" rater than any one thing. I'm fairly certain there were a number of reasons Chris "renounced his religion" mostly being his adoption of the Neptunia bullshit and his own preconceived narrative which would evolve into him believing he's Jesus. Also, although it's my opinion, I didn't think Hardcore Henry was mediocre. --Finnegan (talk) 05:14, 28 June 2022 (UTC) |

Payday
I think the reason why Akan was important in the idea guy saga, if I recall, was because the idea guys got Chris to play Payday 2 wherein there is a Hardcore Henry DLC where you scan clones from one of Akan's labs in Russia. This I feel would be worth mentioning as I doubt Chris knows of the character outside of Payday 2. --Finnegan (talk) 03:55, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
I would definitely mention the fact that he was in Payday 2 and that Chris has played the game (I know there is a source for the latter, probably on one of the gaming pages) but unless there is evidence of Chris relating the two, I don't think we should be conjecturing - it could very well be a coincidence. I do recall that there is a tweet somewhere in the social media articles where he finally watched Hardcore Henry long after the fact. Rossticus (talk) 07:58, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
It's extremely relevant given the Idea Guys' obsession with Payday 2 and how they even turned Alec into a Payday villain. Shit, we might even need to make a Payday article! --JackBlackStack (talk) 20:48, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

Akan as a coping mechanism rewrite?
