Should the videos be posted here or only on the main article? I think they should be posted on both, and this page should link back to the original. What say ye? --Tregnier2795 01:25, 22 June 2009 (CEST)
- I think that this article is already a little bit too long, and adding two videos to it would only make it even longer. Yes, having the videos here would be illustrative, but it would also be redundant. Anyone who comes here and wants to watch the videos has a huge link to the videos' own page staring them in the face, so I don't see why they can't just go there. Lastly, if the videos were to remain double-posted here, I'm sure that someone would eventually start complaining that there were no transcripts (or else start needlessly re-transcribing them). Can't we just opt to avoid all of that Stressful Torture? Llort 02:23, 22 June 2009 (CEST)
- I guess. It just seems that having the two vids on the page, while redundant, makes it much more efficient. You wanna see the videos themselves and the descriptions/analysis? See the Branchland Court article. Want the vids and a transcript? See the main article. Maybe add such a description to the link to the video article? --Tregnier2795 10:51, 23 June 2009 (CEST)
Question
I've heard that Chris waits by the mail box daily for the post to arrive to intercept mail from his parents incase any new NOODS arrive for them, is there any substance to that claim?--UncleBastard 00:21, 23 July 2009 (CEST)
To do
Add a picture of the sign trolls left in her yard (thankfully, we have a picture from Svenka, of all people to thank) and a little bit about what to do if they choose to "visit" the house IRL (or more appropriately, a warning against it). --Champthom 20:48, 14 August 2009 (CEST)
Dox
We should make keep a record of the times Chris has dropped his address publicly, in videos and on his website openly (there was a time when people found his address by looking on a white pages website). --Champthom 06:35, 24 November 2009 (CET)
- Added at least a partial list. There may be more videos I've missed, though. Dkaien 08:23, 24 November 2009 (CET)
A&E's Hoarders
I have just learned that A&E has this program called Hoarders, where they go to the homes of compulsive hoarders and clean up their house for them. Maybe we should do this for CWC. Here's the form that needs to be filled out for it. It'll take some time to fill out, but if A&E ever does go to CWC's house, it would provide copious amounts of lulz. --BreadGod 00:07, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Today I Got an email from a girl that works at A&E that says that they sent a crew, but Barb slammed the door in their faces.--Dan Dash 13:06, 17 March 2011 (PDT)
- Share it, please. Reality TV doesn't work that way; Hoarders contacts the family right out of the gate to assess the psychological issues. They don't just send a crew down on the word of random people on the internet. Kazmeyer 22:36, 19 September 2011 (PDT)
- Never mind, see it on your user page. "Allison.hoarders@gmail.com" -- yeah. Kazmeyer 22:39, 19 September 2011 (PDT)

The one about how Chris handles his mail, can we cite where it's from? --Champthom 23:54, 6 May 2011 (PDT)
Selling?
I'm not certain as to whether or not this is relevant, but I think the Chandlers might be trying to sell the house again. Here's the link to the website in question. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/14-Branchland-Ct-Ruckersville-VA-22968/107910124_zpid/ -- IcyHotWings --
- We need more info. Can anyone validates this? Griffintown 09:54, 6 July 2011 (PDT)
- Not legit. This site list's everyone's house and offer's what they think the house is worth. Type in your own address, and it'll show your house for sale. --SargentPickles 10:06, 20 September 2011 (PDT)
House layout and fire damage
I made a draft of what the floorplan seems to be/had been, based on the two Tour videos, with a fair consistency based on his progression through each (best I could tell through the darkness and quality); I think I got it mostly right, exept I am unsure if Chris' room is the back left, or the front left--- but either way, his house is quite narrow, so I'm sure his room was torched just being 'on the left', so it may not be as relevant anymore. Wanted to have other people see for themselves to see if it looks right (room proportions not withstanding). --Xavier orona (talk) 09:32, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
Number change
Sources pre-2000 tend to refer to a "46 Branchland Ct" (e.g. Cole's postcard to Barb in 1994). Could it be that the original number of the house was 46 and it was renumbered to 14 sometime after 2000? FokkerTISM (talk) 03:09, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
infestation
I'm curious, the only thing mentioned about this 'infestation' is that Bob had bites all over to him. Because a friend and I have recently dealt with the scourge known as bedbugs, and given Chris' horrendous hygiene and how they keep their house, I'm almost 100% sure this is what they have. It's not hard to catch them, whether you're a clean person or not, but in a place like 14 Branchland Court, they would multiple like crazy. Does anyone have anymore info? I'd like it if the article elaborated. Barb and Chris both are probably both being eaten alive, and if not yet, then soon, especially if they've had them since Bob's death. Or did the fire take them out?--The World Is Yours (talk) 16:16, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Neighbors
Should a section on Chris's neighbors be added? A couple of interesting items:
- The Cat-Killer story - https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Catherine_E-mails#Chris_the_Cat-Killer
- In A few kicks, Chris is seen abruptly stopping at the edge of a neighbor's driveway, implying he was told not to go on their property.
Those two are interesting, yet not linked much on the wiki.
Other mentions include involvement with rescuing Sorbet, and helping the Chandlers after the house fire. It's unknown which neighbor did what, so that might make writing a section on them tricky. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 12:14, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Reverse Mortgage and Inevitable Homelessness
Should the fact that Barb put the home in a reverse mortgage and after her death will result in the bank repo it? -Larry the Larryhog (talk) 15:03, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- There isn't a reverse mortgage. Null thought there was, but retracted his comment about it. There's just a regular mortgage. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 18:06, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- I realise that I am reviving this discussion almost two years later, but the point of facts bears on the phrasing of the Mortgage section's last sentence, which I phrased as a neutral report on popular statements on the matter. Is the oft-encountered statement in What will happen when Barb dies? that the estate will be sold to pay Barb's debts is a false conclusion that assumes this is a reverse mortgage? Can the bank still sell the house after she passes to recover her other debts in this instance, or is Chris's only danger of homelessness in forgetting his payments again? I do not know what the USA's laws are in this respect. ChanOfTartary (talk) 17:54, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- The house will go through the probate process. One complication is that Barb's debts must be paid with her estate before the house title and its mortgage can transfer to Chris. On however much of the $20,000+ in debt she still owes, probate will force a sale of the house to satisfy that since Barb has no other assets. https://homeguides.sfgate.com/happens-inherit-property-mortgage-46728.html Another potential complication is that probate could get messy since Cole is also Barb's heir.
