Talk:The MovingFoward videos
Transcribing this one presently... Dkaien 17:27, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- Done transcribing. Well, that was something you don't see every day. If anybody can catch what he says while he's setting down the camera in the first bit, please do add that... Dkaien 17:54, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
What account did he upload this on?--Lylelash 17:42, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- he didn't upload it, trolls did --Cogsdev 17:42, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- Um, wow... Destroying his life upgrade? This has to be the work of an external source, no way in hell Chris would do this on his own... I'm guessing either Rocky or Snorlax and the lumber jack. I'm gonna hold off on commenting any further until new information is gleaned.--SargentPickles 17:46, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
How did the trolls get ahold of this video...obviously an inside job if he sent it to some trolls "I'll have sex with you if you destroy your ps3" Our tax dollars will buy him another one however...I wonder if he will still use the Sonichu ID?--Lylelash 18:01, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
Am stupid question i know but why the fuck doesn't he just connect the HDD to his computer and run a data recovery application ? --Hdl6h3g 17:52, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- Wow, this is a bit extreme, even for Chris. I would be surprised if he thought of doing this on his own. Notslowpoke 17:52, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- I tried doing that once. Didn't work. I think the PS3 uses a file system that Windows doesn't recognize. I've heard that it can be accessed in Linux, though. Not that it matters, since a formatted drive is near impossible to retrieve data from. He should have just backed it up beforehand.--T K 19 18:14, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
Here's my question, what's he going to do when winter sets in and he's got nothing to do inside? He'll probably be getting a new one when he realizes that. Food for thought. --Caboose -1 18:15, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
Well it seems like he thinks his PS3 is the sole cause of his lack in a social life, it sort of is but destroying the PS3 seems more like treating a symptom than a disease. Pinefresh 18:19, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
- Sort of, it certainly is a measure to change, albeit an extreme one, but necessary. It's like an addiction really and he's kind of forcing himself into a kind of rehab by doing this. This is all assuming he doesn't just go buy a new one though. But I think that all we've heard from Chris these past few months are all connected: the PS3 destruction, him trying to get off the internet, and, most of all, his high school reunion. He's trying to the best of his ability but keep in mind that it's Chris. --Caboose -1 18:25, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
