According to Bella, when they were planned to attend Everfree Northwest, there was a "love triangle" between Chris, Bella, and Fiona. In this love triangle, Bella liked Fiona; Fiona liked Chris; and Chris liked Bella.

Effects on Everfree Arrangements

The Love Triangle made hotel arrangements complicated, as Chris wanted to have a room with Bella but not Fiona. Bella, having claimed to have become "besties" with Fiona, had sworn to protect her from Chris, believing that Fiona's crush on him was a danger to her. She also admitted to being sexually attracted to Fiona, and had expressed desires to date her during the event. Bella claimed in the Chess club that she planned to "steal" her from Chris to "protect" her, and that Chris invited Bella to be his dance partner and then invited Fiona at Bella's suggestion, though Bella intended to just dance with Fiona.
