Given that Chris is a writer, who coincidentally lives in a fantasy world it comes as no surprised that Chris should find himself compared (or contrasted) to the great minds of contemporary fantasy.

Writing

Charicterization

Heros

Since Tolkien, fantasy has had heavy character-driven themes as the keystone, Chris believing he has created the perfect character has used that same character for all of his protagonists.

Villains

A far cry from your Sauron or Shai'tan, the Villains of Sonichu share only their aesthetic as wizards or witches, otherwise, they are weak and ineffectual and have seemingly only stuck around because the Protagonists haven't really taken the time to take care of them.

Magic

Magic in a Fantasy universe is a writer's best tool for creating intrigue, Brandon Sanderson has even written a few theories on Magic systems. Chris definitely uses a soft magic system, which is to say the rules for magic are not quite concrete, rather they work from a general Idea (Ironically Harry potter uses the same strategy). However Chris doesn't even try to explain how Magi-Chan can see into the future, and God help you if you are interested in the Curse-ye-ha-me-ha.

In real life

Chris bears a strong resemblance to several Characters from a variety of Fantasy books (mainly Character flaws):

Wheel of time

Like Rand, Chris has gained a Harem which is a controversial topic among fans. Unlike Chris, Rand's Harem is made up entirely of human women.

Brandon Sandederson's Cosmere

Kaladin

Kaladin is a depressed, lonely, slave, who has only a ditzy wind spirit to talk to. He hates men of a certain orientation (albeit one of their eye color), he vows revenge but ends up becoming what he fights. The similarities end their however as Kaladin is a tenacious disciplined warrior who gains lots of friends that he leads out of obscurity and into heroism.

Shallan

Shallan is an artistic redhead with identity issues, you could see the resemblance. However Shallan became veil to cope with legit psychological trauma such as a dad who would beat and kill servants and murder beloved pets as proxies. Chris became Christine to widen the scope of China he could get by a technicality.
