{usage|1=This is a metatemplate used to style section hatnotes which direct users to related articles.

Hatnotes are short notes placed at the top of an article (hence the name "hat"), normally to provide links to other similarly named articles or disambiguation pages.

The template indents the text you put in it and displays it in italics.

The format for using this template is as follows:
