Since in the canon future of ''Sonichu'', Sonichu has indeed become Metonic, this implies that Chris will be remarkably successful in using [[Pokémon]] trading tricks: not only will he find someone to perform a back-and-forth evolution trade (it was fairly common in old Pokémon games to send the traded Pokémon back again after the evolution trade), but this person will indeed ''not'' be a [[Medallion#Mark 1 (and decoy)|troll who yanks off the cable and runs away]], grinning like a loon, with Chris's Metonic on their cart.
