On 20 March 2009, Chris released a short video on YouTube in which he professes his love for his new e-girlfriend Ivy. The video was deleted and reposted by Chris four days later (officially titled "Update") on 24 March.
This is a notable video as it is primarily shot close up with an emphasis on Chris's face, against the one part of his room with nothing plastered over it. He makes no attempt to establish the validity of the video by either showing off the high school ring or his (new) medallion. The video may be one of the most unintentionally creepy things ever filmed by Chris, with a later video dedicated to Ivy being close competition.

Under the 14 November 2009 daily comic update plan, Chris published 137 comic pages and missed 159 days! Since the plan's discontinuation on February 24th and death of the CWCipedia on May 30th, Chris has gone three months straight without updates.
- 1 June - Hamsty adds the pages 8-10, Mao clarifies the issue of Sonichu copyrights.
- 31 May - Pages 6 and 7 of the season 2 are added by Hamsty, as is the page explaining the current state of Sonichu copyrights.
- 30 May - Hamsty adds the 5 first pages of Sonichu Season 2, and updates the FAQ page and the bios for Sonichu and Rosechu. Later on, Deconstructing Chris article is added by Hamsty.
- 30 May - Due to the abandonment by Chris, Hamsty the Hamster takes over as the new Captain of the CWCipedia.
- 27 May - Later, the wiki finally gives out and dies, only to be resurrected by Mao in a flurry of dicks.
- 27 May - The vandalism extravaganza continues. Chris announces that he has abandoned the CWCipedia.
