Hey everybody, Jesus Christine Weston Chandler Sonichu Prime her once again. And I am just about to record myself reading Act 8 of Chaos Crystal Control, but I wanted to give you all this little bonus and preface that I feel like is just inspiring and good to do. So, [clears throat] while I was in jail, in the newspaper I was able to get during the time, and I saved the clippings as well. Starting on November 1st 2022 I started reading Luann by Greg Evans. I'll give you this. [shows page with Luann comic strip taped to it] This is the first strip I read and, and obviously said and also I'll give you this example. Look, I can write really small. I mean, can you write two lines in a single line of notebook paper? Just that's I've been wanting to talk about that for a little while. The opportunity just rose so I'm going with it. But anyway, [pulls page back away from the camera] yeah, [clears throat] [?] for early as then. And just that, I always liked dry humor, even after Frasier or Cheers or whatever. Just it's funny. I like it. But I'm just going to go ahead and read this for example. I just feel like I hear this the way in my head. "Third place ($20): The Horrible Hohorcut by Luann DeGroot! Wow! Who won first and second? Oh! I didn't even read that far. Let's see. Second place ($35): Van Gogh's." Oh, third place twenty dollars. "Second place ($25): Van Gogh's Diary by Vale Packer. Vale?! I tutored him! I helped him write this! I won second place too!! And I bet he'll give you his $35." Ahh, this is good dry humor. I like that. What the hell is this? And just obviously, I'm giving you a little bit of a segue, a leadup to what the point I'll be getting to. But this continues good. "There's a link to read the entries... Van Gogh's Diary by Vale Packer." Just this definitely said to me a lot about Vale. "Hi! Vincent Van Gogh here (pronounced Vincent). I live in Paris with artists like Toulouse-Lautrec (too loose) and Claud Monet (Clod). 700,000 people live in Paris and 600,000 are artists. The rest are cancan dancers and mimes." Really? "This is stupid!" Boy do I agree with you. "Is this the part you helped him with?" I promise this- this entire video is not going to be entirely me reading the web. But here we go, coming up. "Lu! Congratu- congratulations on-" Oh I skipped. I skipped a comic nevermind. Oh here we go, yeah. So "who won first? First place. Um. ($50): Oops-William Tell Missed by Tara Starr. Tara? That's a surprise. Yeah, she's not even that funny. Neither is Vale. Wonder how they beat you? Tallot pampering. Ballot tampering." Meh meh. [clears throat] "Lu! Congratulations on snagging 3rd! Congrats on first! I didn't know you were a writer, Tara. Well, I wrote 23 stories. Luckily I picked the right one to submit. 23? I only wrote one. HA! So who's the real writer here? Me." [shows page with Luann comic strip taped to it] "'Cuz I hate to write." Vale, shut up Vale. Mer. But now, this is the one. This is the integral comic strip right here. I'm just gonna, I will put this up. Let's just see after I finish reading. "In my writing class, we're doing NaNoWriMo, a no-, a global novel-writing challenge: 50,000 words in a month. Can you use words twice? Like 'it'? My story was only 824..." Ah! "But how long did it take you? An hour? Think what you could do in a month!" Err let's see here, "824 times 16 hours a day for 30 days... 395,520 words. You can write three 'Harry Potter' books! Yeah, but you gotta get all the words in the right order." Uh fuh you. But that just one comic strip. This one comic strip alone, I feel like it set off a good chain reaction despite me uh reading this on the 5th of November. adoo doodoo. Just make sure I get this back in the right order in this becuase this was in the previous folder as opposed to my this was the Chaos Crystal Control. Just put this back. Doo doo doodoo. Get this off my lap. Okay [clears throat]... where's my. I have it right here. Um, okay, cut cut cut! Did I mix it up in here? Oh yeah, here it is... Okay [clears throat]... Three, two, one. Now I wrote this on the back of the canned written copy I made, which I- the original is in the previous folder before this one for Act 0 of Chaos Crystal Control. I wrote it on the back here. Just I, yeah. So I'm just going to read this aloud. This I write on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 when I uh after I rewrote all of this, but I wanted to make a mention of the comic strip Luann by Greg Evans and specifically the strip from November 5th, 2022, which I just read a moment ago. I'll skip the uh rereading, but yeah, I'll just remind you. NaNoWriMo, a global novel writing challenge. 50,000 words in a month. I personally, I like to think in part that one comic strip inspired the detailed extensive literally alpha omega point linked looking back in time in our universe literal time and literal timeline here writing of Chaos Crystal Control. Thank you- I thank you Greg Evans. you actually do a very good job on your strip and I wish I could read that in the papers today. I would actually love the compilation books of the comic strips, which included that one and that which ran out which ran during November and December 2022 and after. Hehh.
