Not much is known about Joseph. Joseph was just another manager (fancy euphemism for water boy) for the varsity basketball team. He was introduced in Sonichu #7. This was the first and last time we saw Joe in the comic. Joseph, like many teens, is depicted in the comic with a bad case of acne. It is presumed that [[Manchester High School|Manchester High]] employs the use of the mentally handicapped and horribly disfigured students to clean jock straps and re-fill water bottles.

Joe in real life...

The Real/Comic Joesph

Not much is known about Joseph. Joseph was just another manager (fancy euphemism for water boy) for the varsity basketball team. He was introduced in Sonichu 7. This was the first and last time we saw Joe in the comic. Joseph, like many teens, is depicted in the comic with a bad case of acne. It is presumed that Manchester High employs the use of the mentally handicapped and horribly disfigured students to clean jock straps and re-fill water bottles.

When high res images from the DVD slideshow were released, it was discovered that Joesph was a fairly good looking young man that Chris drew horribly disfigured to make himself look good in comparison.

Chris on Joe

"During my freshman year at Manchester High School...I was to become one of the two "Managers" of the Varsity Basketball team (the term "Water Boy" was more appropriate). But I've had help from my good 'ol buddy, Joseph Herring: he was in his Junior Year then. He was a good man, yet he got a bum steer from this girl he was dating...Linsay, was her name, I think...Anyway, I've condoned him and listened attentively. I also remember the time when for one game, the buses couldn't make it, so the whole team had to play follow-the-leader to the opposing High School. I rode with Joe in his Jeep, it was a fun ride.
