Of interesting note is the show ''[[Wikipedia:Moral Orel|Moral Orel]]'' (currently on hiatus, as Adult Swim is wont to do with its shows), which is a claymation mainly focused at pointing out the inherent fallacies and ignorance of fundamentalist Protestantism, which is common in the Midwestern United States and Bible Belt. It openly criticizes the blind faith and intolerance of many American Christians, and people like Chris are exactly who they are making fun of. It's unknown whether or not Chris watches (or has ever watched), this show, but he'd either be offended by it or the jokes and truths would go right over his head.
Hey AS, this is Christian Chandler. I've enjoyed your fun programming...except ATHF. Other than that, I've purchased the Brak Show Volume 1 DVD Set, and I colored it in, and put my signiture on it. If you show the images on AS Thursdays, please also mention my Sonichu Site!
I've just watched the 1st episode of Robot Chicken, and I most enjoyed the Transformers portion of the episode. Only a few things about it seem wierd to me... If Optimus was "Taking a leak," shouldn't he have expelled transmission fluid, and later have found OIL in it, not blood. Also, "Killed 50 humans?" I've been a fan of Transformers my whole life, so I know what I'm saying here; the Autobots care more for the humans than that, so they shouldn't have cheered for something so sad. Also, I'd really hope to see more Transformers segments int furure episodes of Robot Chicken. Here's a suggestion for a future segment... Megatron shoots Bumblebee, causing major bodily injury. Then Optimus tends to sue Megatron. And he hires Starscream for his lawer. That's just crazy, huh? Roll out, Autobots!
| |||

Revision as of 18:11, 5 October 2009
Adult Swim is a late night programming block on Cartoon Network primarily catering to adults age 18-24.
Due to Chris's biological clock, he would stay up late at night and would frequently watch Adult Swim, especially since it catered to two of his chief interests - anime and random access humor.
Of interesting note is the show Moral Orel (currently on hiatus, as Adult Swim is wont to do with its shows), which is a claymation mainly focused at pointing out the inherent fallacies and ignorance of fundamentalist Protestantism, which is common in the Midwestern United States and Bible Belt. It openly criticizes the blind faith and intolerance of many American Christians, and people like Chris are exactly who they are making fun of. It's unknown whether or not Chris watches (or has ever watched), this show, but he'd either be offended by it or the jokes and truths would go right over his head.
