Chris, being an attention whore of sorts, has frequently managed to find himself in the media spotlight. Television, newspapers, magazines and, of course, the internet - if Chris can find some way to earn his 15 minutes of fame some way, he'll do so.

In 1993, the Richmond Times-Dispatch newspaper ran an article detailing how Chris changed his name from "Christopher" to the more well-known "Christian". This is Chris's first known appearance in the media.
