Dragon Ball Z is an anime that consists of a bunch of Aryan monkeys (Saiyan, in Moonspeak) on steroids spending time "training" and talking about how they'll be fighting 30 episodes later. Chris's "Curse-ye-ha-me-ha!" and "Shin-ye-ha-me-ha!" are a blatant rip off of "Kamehameha," an attack used in the series by the protagonist, Goku (sometimes by other characters as well) right before he kicks some ass.
Chris stole the Dragon Ball plot device from the series. If you gather all seven Dragon Balls, you are granted one wish. Chris, of course, ingeniously changed the name to "Sonichu Balls," probably thinking people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It should also be noted that the phrase "bad luck and extreme misfortune" was ripped off from a line from an episode of Rocko's Modern Life.
