Could someone please update this?--Pikimon 01:34, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

I'll write some updates for characters and such in the next day or two, in between putting up new pages. But I don't want to fill it all up myself, having outsider perspective helps me create. ALBASPERCHU 11:17, 4 January 2010 (CST)

On second thought, my time is devoted to getting Asperpedia up at the moment. By which I mean Clyde is doing most of the work, but what fleshing out I do goes there first over here. so I might not update much here soon. ALBASPERCHU 21:12, 6 January 2010 (CST)

I think this can (mostly) be integrated into the Asperpedia and then we'll just provide a link to the asperpedia from here. Clydec 06:45, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

  • I think that there needs to be some sort of concise version of Asperpedia here, at least the basics of the Asperchu canon - who people are, how it relates to Chris, and maybe some drama involving Alec and Chris. People wanting more details about the world of Asperchu can go to Asperpedia then. --Champthom 08:29, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Move to main namespace

Spaskid would have a shit fit if he saw this, but I'm considering moving this to the main namespace. I feel that Asperchu's presence of the CWCipedia in advertising, not to mention its significance to troll culture and especially Chris's comments on Asperchu warrant a reference in the main namespace mostly because it's starting to become that it's handy to know what Chris is talking about when he mentions Asperchu.

However, let's look at the pros and cons:
Pros: main name space meaning people can find it by default search.
Con: could set a bad precedent - pretty much as long as Chris mentions a fan work, that could make it go to the main namespace. In fact, technically the "Sonichu is Gay" comic and Asperchu could go into the main namespace by current notability guidelines. Spaskid particularly freaked out about being in the Fan namespace, believing it was some sort of insult, and I don't want to piss off other fan artists who think it's not fair Asperchu gets to be in the main namespace and theirs doesn't.

This is a rather big precedent so I'd like members of the CWCki community to weigh in on this. --Champthom 08:29, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Move the article when Chris has a major rage about Aspechu. At that point the article will be more about Chris's reaction to Asperchu than Asperchu itself, so it will make sense to take it out of the Fan namespace. --Chugger 11:01, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
  • The final judges of notoriety are you, cogs, and clyde, last time I checked. It looks like clyde's pretty enthusiastically behind Asperchu (he said it's the next big thing somewhere, don't ask me to find it). So if Spaskid (or any other 'fan artist') wants to spaz about being in main namespace vs fan namespace, tell them to f-off and make their own CWCki. When something is straddling the line between main and fan, it's your call which way to send it. As long as you guys are rational about it, the sane majority among us will go along with it. The buck has to stop somewhere! --Umad 17:47, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
  • keep it in fan until tomorrow (if my plan works.) Clydec 19:39, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
  • Another plan of epic trolling? --CWCAttack 19:51, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
  • also, the audiobooks were always in the main namespace due to how early the article was made. it actually had nothing to do with trolling chris until fairly recently so... Clydec 19:40, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
  • Audiobooks was mostly kept on the main namespace mostly because 1) its significance to CWC trolling culture, 2) a definitive third party presentation of the comics that disseminates Chris's comics to the masses, etc.
To address Umad's comments, actually, it's up to all of us to determine notability. What is notable to me, Cogs, and Clyde might not be notable to everyone else and visa versa. Ultimately, part of having a wiki is to have discussions and debates such as these so we can achieve to some optimal result, such as what constitutes notability. I personally don't approve of some things that go on the CWCki but since the masses seem to do something that works, I let them and sometimes I'm proven wrong.
For instance, Chugger's proposal is something I didn't immediately think of and as you can tell, this is the route we're going - we'll keep this Fan article to discuss the fan specifics of Asperchu (characters, plots, etc.), whereas the Asperchu article in the namespace will document the drama (Asperchu saga, perhaps) between Chris and Asperchu. --Champthom 23:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Of course I can't really offer an impartial vote, but I'd be honored if this gets into the main space. Frankly, I'm rather confident the time for that will come, because I'm not going to stop doing the comic, and we know Chris isn't going to stop getting madder and madder about it. ALBASPERCHU 01:04, 11 January 2010 (CST)
    • I wrote a tentative article about Alec Benson Leary and how chris was reacting to him in my sandbox. I figured it was a pretty good middle ground. An article that covered Chris's reactions to Asperchu, without really focusing on Asperchu as a fictional character.--Beat 15:12, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
      • yeah, just keep the fan page here, make a new main asperchu page for chris v asperchu also i'm sleepy Clydec 16:55, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Improvement

Yes, there's Asperpedia but seriously, we need a concise guide to Asperchu for those who don't feel like wading through the entire Apserpedia. We don't need, for instance, discussions on locales or stuff like that, just brief character descriptions, plot descriptions, Chris's commentary on the series, etc. --Champthom 07:00, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

  • I'm currently working on adding stuff to the character sections, including references to the Asperchu characters' real-life counterparts. I won't change anything that's already there. --GodBear 00:45, 21 January 2010 (CST)

Larry D. Waltz

Is it me, or does Larry have a slight resemblence to Jimmy Hill. Would that be notable enough to mention? Double Nega 15:43, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

I did some cleanup

More cleanup and wikification still neeeded. --Sonijew is back 11:52, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

About the Yellow Devil

Hey. I'm the guy who wrote most of the articles on Asperpedia. I just want to clarify that Yellow Devil isn't an Asperchu clone. I didn't know he was a Megaman reference and I fucked up there. Just saying. --Edward 21:54, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Ian's Death

I get how it mirrors Evan(obvious) and Sean(a bit more subtle), but I don't see how it copies the death of Mao.--MoarLurk 18:29, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

  • It dosn't. --Edward 18:57, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Two Clyde Cashes?

I've heard on both this page on on Asperpedia forums, people talking about the Bald Clyde Cash from Sonichu Special 1 in here. I've looked on Asperpedia and on Comicseries. I've found no traces of a bald Clyde Cash in Asperchu. Intrestingly though, I notice that the Issue 5 summary mentions there being two Clyde Cashes, but no mention of Jason Kendrick Howell. Where did this TwoClydes business come from? Did someone somehow mistake Jason for Clyde or am I missing something? --Edward 20:20, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

  • Yeah, that was my fault. I mistook Jason for Clyde there (used to him having the hood over his head 24/7). I'll fix it.--Blazer 02:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
  • I see. For future reference: Without the hood, Jason looks like Big Boss. --Edward 03:39, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Is Dino Dash the same as Clyde, or are they two separate characters? Eamoo 15:21, 18 August 2010 (PDT)

Bios needs to be updated

In particular Sonichu's (Solid Sonichu now). --Sonijew is back 18:16, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
