See my user page. It's nothing bad, just need to talk to you about something. --Champthom 08:34, 28 December 2009 (CET)

Will do, but it may take a day or two. I'm not the best condition to use the net right now - slightly busy. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 01:33, 29 December 2009 (CET)
  • That's fine, just remind me I also have two things to talk to you about. --Champthom 06:34, 30 December 2009 (CET)

You're a jerkop now

Because you actually know how to do wiki shit, I am hereby appointing you a jerkop. As such, you have the powers to ban, delete, rollback, and move. I trust that you will use these powers for good, fighting vandals, and not evil.

Godspeed. --Champthom 12:47, 25 September 2009 (CEST)

Thank you! --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 16:58, 25 September 2009 (CEST)

Wikipedia

You looked familiar and then I googled your name and looked at your Wikipedia page. I think I've seen you on Wikifur as well but I don't remember as I rarely go there. I'm pretty sure you've banned several of my wikipedia accounts. I don't remember what their names were as it was long ago and they were edit warring or else edit warring and then vandalizing when edit warring failed. Hmmm I looked at your recent contribs and you chatted on Chris-chan's Wikipedia talk page and I totally overlooked that. Err okay correction I checked http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=block&user=Wwwwolf&page=&year=&month=-1&tagfilter=&hide_patrol_log=1 and clearly that wasn't you. I don't know where I remember you from then. --Ritegroic 14:03, 7 June 2009 (CEST)

Yup, I'm in Wikipedia and I've dabbled a bit in Wikifur (nothing major really), and tried to (rather futilely) talk sense to Chris in WP. I'm also in ED (and rambled in in Talk:Chris-chan before they started getting worried about its size), but I haven't touched ED in a while besides reading it. --Wwwwolf 14:10, 7 June 2009 (CEST)

OH SHI---!

Welcome to CWCki. I remember you from Wikipedia and we really need a Wikifag around here. I'm only a sysop because I spend an unhealthy amount of time here D:. --Champthom 18:55, 13 June 2009 (CEST)

Thank you and hello to you too. If you have any puzzling technical mediawiki questions, feel free to ask if I can do anything about it =) --wwwwolf (wake me up when you need me) 19:06, 13 June 2009 (CEST)

Animal Crossing Documentary

Thanks for taking care of that PVCC article transcript. When I found that image among the many random pictures on the Sonichu page a couple weeks ago, I re-posted it on the Animal Crossing Documentary where it really belonged. I meant to write up a transcript of it soon afterward, but that must have slipped my mind.

The one concern that I've always had with transcribing that article on that page is that the entire first half is about Sonichu, and it has nothing to do with Chris's documentary. Do you think it would make more sense to only include a transcript of that final paragraph? I'm still undecided on the matter. Llort 01:44, 14 June 2009 (CEST)

Good question. I think for the sake of completeness complete transcript should be at least somewhere. I don't know if we have yet a page that would list Chris's appearances in mainstream media (or even school newspapers) - that could be a better location for the full transcript... --wwwwolf (wake me up when you need me) 09:29, 14 June 2009 (CEST)

Chris on Wikipedia

As per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Lock_Your_Door/Archive , can you get them to do a real checkuser to determine if ChrisChanSonichu is the same as those other accounts. At present they found some account that acted like ChrisChanSonichu and a lot of accounts on similar IP ranges, but they never conclusively tied it to ChrisChanSonichu. It must be known if these accounts are Chris or not. --Ritegroic 19:16, 16 June 2009 (CEST)

Yeah, I know about that investigation. I don't know what to make of it, as I haven't reviewed the Checkuser cases so far that well yet, but just based on the usage pattern it looks like they're dealing with a troll who also could be in Chris's region somewhere. One of the socks kept calling Chris a "village idiot"; I don't think Chris would do that, unless he's really softening himself up for some self-parody again. (Which "worked" in ED, but would be deceptive and possibly condemnable in WP.) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 14:15, 17 June 2009 (CEST)
It looked to me like someone with an unrelated IP immitated Chris and they used a proxy or public computer network that had a lot of misbehaving accounts connected to the IP range. They also didn't actually do an IP link of Chris's account to the other ones, it appears to me. --Ritegroic 23:08, 17 June 2009 (CEST)

Medal of Merit

For bringing your Wiki sorcery to CWCki and instead of being burned at the stake for using such witchery such as dynamic date linking in Da update, you will instead by recognized with a Medal of Merit. Way to go! --Champthom 15:46, 18 July 2009 (CEST)

Thank you! I'll always strive to use our awesome MediaWiki software to its fullest potential. (Even if it means semantically questionable things like using the <poem> tag anywhere near Chris's attempts at verse. =) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 15:56, 18 July 2009 (CEST)

Soul Calibur

(Moved from User: page)

Hey, if you can get some more pictures of custom Soul Caliber characters, that would be great! Rumor has it he has made characters for many of his friends and enemies, including Megan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Megaman (talkcontribs)

Well, wouldn't it be something if we'd ever see the fabled TRUE and HONEST SoulCalibur characters. I just have bad Hex-Box approximations and reimaginings for now. =) (Oh, and you can't really affect the outlook that much in SC4 - I doubt SC3 is much better in this regard. This said in case anyone's wondering why Chris or MLW don't look anything like the real people.) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 02:55, 31 July 2009 (CEST)

Template help

Since you're our local Wiki pedo wizard, I need your help. Whoever made this template seemed to fucked up as if you put a stub template following it, the Videobook template like, subsumes the stub template so that it looks like someone put the stub template within the Videobook template. My guess is that he forgot to close a bracket but since I usually just copy and paste shit from existing templates because I'm just that cool, I'm not sure what exactly is causing it. Anything you can do to fix this? --Champthom 19:30, 11 September 2009 (CEST)

Yup. The template had two nested tables, and the outer one was missing the closing bracket. This is why nested tables are evil. =) Should work now. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 21:44, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
I was the one who made that template; I don't know how to make templates from scratch so I used the one for Captain's Logs as a, um, template, and I must've left that extra bracket. Thank you so much for fixing it! --Lime (Scold? | Undo?) 21:55, 11 September 2009 (CEST)

More template help

Again, you being the resident wiki whiz, do you think you could whip something up along the lines of what I was asking after over at the community portal? (See Succession boxes for videos.) That would be mighty cool. Llort 01:39, 7 November 2009 (CET)

  • Thanks for creating Template: Succession. A bit of bad news, though: now that cogs and I have messed with it some, it doesn't seem to work anymore. I asked cogs what went wrong, and she made some suggestions over at her talk page; still, I don't know what she's talking about, since I'm not good with these things. Do you think you could fix whatever needs to be fixed and then plug the template into just one relevant page - like Chris Chan's Public Announcement - so I can see exactly how it's supposed to be used? (Once I see it done once, it shouldn't be any trouble to adapt from there.) Anyway, thanks again. Llort 01:38, 11 November 2009 (CET)

Gold Star Bounty

For successfully creating a Succession box, you get the Gold Star Bounty since I offered it and whatnot. Congrats and thanks for making a succession box. Also, you might have to fix where your new award goes since I can't figure out the wizardry you did to display your user boxes :3. --Champthom 19:35, 7 November 2009 (CET)

Fan:Truly Self-Epic Sonichu Gamer Non-Challenge

Hey man, I know you're waaaay more of a contributor here than me, but I just wanted to say that little of this goes a long way . Maybe it's just my autism powers flaring up, but it was really confusing reading that, so I made some changes (not to the contents, just the format). Love the idea though, Bioshock is the shit --Jump 23:25, 16 November 2009 (CET)

Mailbag question

Not that I'm in any position to bitch about the mailbag right now, but I thought there was a moratorium on asking Chris's opinion on games, since his only answers are "it was good" and "I haven't played it?" --sonichuis44 13:30, 20 December 2009 (CET)

Yeah, possibly. I removed the question. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 20:47, 20 December 2009 (CET)

Question

Are you a furry? I think you are, but I don't want to judge without confirming it. It doesn't look like your spreading the cancer, so I don't really care. My views on this subject are no secret though, being a member of Al-Aqsa Trolling Crew, Patriotic Nigras, etc.--Anon1Guardian 05:27, 28 December 2009 (CET)

  • If he is a furfag, so what? He's one of the finest CWCki editors we have and I think he does amazing work. I'm not picking on you Anon1Guardian but in the spirit of "CWCki is not ED" we're also not PVCC, Krapple, 4chan, etc. No one here will be banned because they like something the population does not or they pissed me off or because of their user name. The only reason I would permanently ban someone is for vandalizing the CWCki, harassing another user endlessly, inserting false material into pages after warnings, etc.
True story - I was asked by two trolls to ban someone here. I asked them "What have they done?" and they said "They're a jugalo." I look at their contributions, saw they made decent contributions and haven't done anything against CWCki, and said "Fuck no." I said if they fucked with this guy, I'd ban them. Same thing here - fuck with a user and I will ban you. --Champthom 06:01, 28 December 2009 (CET)
  • To be perfectly honest, I've never quite known if "thinks wolves and wolf characters and werewolves are pretty frigging awesome" qualifies as furry these days, mostly because I don't really hang around with too many self-professed furries anyway. Since people generally don't like anything even remotely furry-related, I don't talk much about it - there's time and place for everything and discussing fluffy characters rarely finds either a proper time or place. I try to stick to the topic wherever I go. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 01:33, 29 December 2009 (CET)
  • Ok, thank you for answering that. As long as you don't spread furry propaganda or in any way spread the cancer, I could care less. I would never troll someone who actually makes a legitimate contribution. And if your edits help keep this wiki from looking like shit, more power to you. --Anon1Anonlaugh.png 23:14, 30 December 2009 (CET)

External images

Do you know why using external images doesn't work anymore? I tried using one on my user profile page like how I did on the old incarnation of the wiki, and it just creates a link. I'm assuming it's disabled now, but I also wonder if I'm doin' it wrong. -Needlepants

Inserting external images is not a standard MediaWiki feature - I rampantly speculate that the old site had some extension that allowed that, and it was not installed here when the site was moved. (Though for the life of me, I can't figure out which particular extension did that.) I guess that for best bet, you should upload the images locally... --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 09:21, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
